Hello, Welcome to my channel. My name is Jenilee. I am a wife, a homeschooling mom of 4 and a passionate homemaker. I am inspired by the skills of the past. And driven by our dream to make this a family farm, and a self sufficient home. Join me as I restore all the good, old, simple, and wholesome ways of homemaking. Growing our own food, sourcing whole foods from the farm, cooking from scratch, and all the simple but lovely skills (sewing, preserving, decorating) it takes to run a country home. My purpose is always to bring the focus back to the home and honor the people within the walls of my home. Nothing is more important to me than the work done within the walls of my home and more importantly for the people in it. I'm restoring Home, Family and Spirit. Love ya lots, Jenilee
The way you think is so mature and sensible. Ehat it does for your home compared to so many others is, their houses are staged and decorated, your home is authentic, cozy, homy and inviting. I have been on the bandwagon of staging and decorsting way too long. Im embarrassed that a young wife and mother had to teach me this life lesson. ❤
New subscriber here from Scotland , I love how your videos are not ruined with loud music 🎶 so relaxing to listen to your soft gentle voice . Thank you for sharing all your recipes . ❤
Lovely video Jennilee. Yours is the most homely home of all, and your children will have many cherished memories from the love you provide to your family. Loving the flower arrangement on your chandelier. xx
But that's exactly what you talking about - hypnotizing yourself - which could be spiritually unaware what doors you were opening, noway I choose Jesus!
Such a nice fall video! You are making good sense by using what you have, instead of going for all the new fads that come along! You are a woman after my own heart! Autumn blessings.
I love your channel. You have such a calming voice. The recipe for your sweet pumpkin bread sounds so yummy and my daughter and I will be making it tomorrow. I love making pumpkin cinnamon rolls in the Fall and Winter months. God bless you and your family and thank you for sharing your recipes....Sherri-Idaho
Hello Jennilee 🌷 Thank you for another beautiful, peaceful video. It's so nice to zone out & to just absorb your tranquil surroundings 🍁 have a blessed weekend xx
I just made chocolate chip pumpkin bread today :) You're flowers are beautiful and I love the way they look in the chandelier. FYI- your Amazon shop link says the page is unavailable.
Looooove this video! We have been gradually cutting out the processed things and going more whole-food/scratch made snacks. Tonight we made breakfast for dinner: Belgian waffles made with part whole wheat flour and oats. Fresh whipped cream and maple syrup. But! I realized we started a tradition with our kids last year that will be hard to break. We allow them to sprinkle on some store bought sprinkles on top. They absolutely love it because of how pretty it is and how it’s kind of artistic the way it all comes out. When I saw that you used some sprinkles on your pop tarts I thought, ok, maybe it’s ok to have a little element that’s not “from scratch.” But I’m also wondering if there is a healthier alternative to sprinkles that will give my kids similar excitement. (I don’t think fresh fruit will work the same way for them. They will see right through that. Haha!)
You have such a calming demeanor. I absolutely am draw to your adding flowers to your chandelier! It looks lovely. What a statement! I, too, have come to be satisfied with what I already have for decorating-for the most part 😉. I have found I really enjoy bringing some of the seasonal outside into the house-leaves, acorns, pine cones, and whatever else moves me. I will say though that saving some money on the side for larger items has been fun as well. Things like a large fall print to switch out another piece of artwork for the season. Thank you for all the work you put in to these videos.
I am definitely falling into that trap now as a mom of two under three. I have a 7 week old and a 2.5 year old so I’m definitely grabbing those easy snacks, natures bakery fruit bars (fig bars or their oatmeal crumble bars) or their date and whole wheat brownies are what my two year old loves to eat! I also give her what ever I’m baking and I try to mix healthy ingredients in my baked goods like flax seed to get extra nutrients in her where I can. I definitely need to start getting into the groove of making snacks from scratch. I recently made a Pat energy bar of sorts with protein oats, different nuts I had on hand, peanut butter, brewers yeast, flax seed, chia seeds, honey, semi sweet chocolate chips and maple syrup and they were devoured!! Not only did I enjoy them but my kiddo and husband! I need to tweak my recipe as they didn’t stick together as well as I’d hope after putting them in the fridge to stiffen up. Many blessings from south Louisiana! ❤️
I am so happy to have found your channel! I have very serious health issues, and am trying to remove all processed food from my diet. I also need to eat more frequently, and on my really bad days, I need things I can grab easily (so having prepared healthy snacks would be huge for me.) Thank you again!
Omgosh! I have never seen the poptarts made so easy before! And what a great idea to feed the starter to make it less sour for the crackers! I can't wait to try the granola bars! Always looking for variety and were kinda picky on how different the textures can turn out. Learned enough to get excited about in just 15 min! Thank you!
I saw there’s long grass around where you were collecting your flowers, do you have snakes where you live Jenilee? Snakes would definitely be in the long grass here where I live. I do enjoy your videos ❤
I love these videos Jennilee, they’re so calm and soothing. I can’t tolerate paraffin wax candles, they make me feel as if I have a cold and hurt my eyes, so I buy soy or beeswax. I really like that you use so many natural “real” things. Thankyou so much for the poem at the end, it’s all true. Take care xx
I love the way you keep ur home, the way you are just content doing ur thing. Your spirit is just inviting and calm you inspire me . Watching from east Africa Kenya
