I rescue converse shoes that people plan on throwing out. If you're about to throw these out, keep in mind that I collect and rescue old converse so let me know if you're interested. It's beneficial to me because I like giving old things a second chance in life as well as helping the environment. I only rescue high, low, mid top and shoreline, not seventies, platforms and slimfit
I was just wondering ? You didn’t get in trouble with any of your explorations.. I hope it didn’t affect . Rick I know you almost fell through a floorboard in one of those places… that would scare me to death.
Yeah, I am a RU-vidr also, and it is hard to find abandoned places, I am in the Pacific Northwest, Washington area… but when I do find them, I will try my hardest to explore them if I can unless there’s a no trespassing sign then I will only fill in the outside
I just came across this video. That is Key United Methodist Church in Hartsville, TN. It was evacuated around 1992 after a new church building was erected about 2 miles away in that same community. I am a member of that church and remember worshipping at that old church as a child. Key UM Church was erected at that site in 1907 and services were held there until 1992 and we moved into the newly constructed church in Nov. 1992 on W. Main St. We are still serving God and actually celebrating 157 years of existance and service in the Hartsville community. ❤ The old church has been fully renovated in to a living space and it is beautiful. It still has the original windows.
I know I would’ve if I was exploring there, but I mainly like opening up the refrigerator and freezer when I go exploring and find abandoned houses… I am a RU-vidr also .
That old stove is what was down in our basement. It was were my grandmother would do her canning & preserving, because it was cooler in the basement. She did her baking down there during the summer, too. Stain glass doors were usually used for bathrooms. In the bathroom that old grill was an excellent way to listen to what was being said in other rooms, but especial downstairs where adults thought you couldn’t here them. Teehee! In the attic those were bedrooms. At times that is we’re a young couple would marry & live with one of their parents & they would live in the attic & eat with the parents. They would also share the bathroom, too. Brings back very old & some fond memories. They you for the memories.
Even if you don’t have anymore abandoned videos for us , just thinking of all the places you saved on video. Those places may be long gone by now, but you saved them in an awesome way!😊
