The black from the fire touched the ground across from the second bathroom just past bedroom. Usually indicates where it started then climbed up the wall and across ceiling. Whole scene screams someone died in that fire as they would never longer need their personal belongings. The walker and the metal step chair in the shower as a shower chair show someone was elderly there. The sewing machine had a stuffed animal sewn mid way in it so I’ll guess it was a female as the shop with its 15 cent coke was abandoned first probably was his van with AC repair. I’ll guess he would have passed around 1976 as the plate was dated that. At least sewing the animal indicated grandkids were likely in existence somewhere. Sad if she passed away let’s hope she went to a care home after the fire and passed there but that first bedroom had the bed completely burnt and the mattress was gone. The door with the three windows had the windows punched out for hoses so no one opened the door they likely broke in the back door. Not a good sign but a great explore!
Agreed the fire started in a bedroom, there are two bedrooms. The room with the 2 beds, the mattresses are missing. My guess they were foam mattresses that melted. As an ex firefighter , I would say it started in the other bedroom. If you look close , the walls are down to the 2x4 studs. Clear indication the fire burned through and also was pulled to access the fire in the walls.
OMG!! What a great find guys!! I loved every minute of this find! So many cool things to look at and you're right Rix, the furniture just needs to be cleaned up on those antiques!! I can tell you first hand being a person that suffered a house fire what the actual physical flames don’t destroy the heat,toxic smoke,water and then mold that starts growing just a couple of days after does.Most everything is either warped,shrunk,stained and smells nasty. You just end up leaving most of it there.
That was the best burnt house you’ve ever explored. Many valuable antiques and that gorgeous clock! But it was a spiderweb factory!! Ugh! I’m delighted to know that bamboo grows in the south! It’s a very valuable source of wood and paper because the forests are so quickly renewable! ✨💕✨
great explore guys, always sad though to see someones home destroyed by a fire, almost makes me wonder though if someone had a small hoarding problem,, seems to be an awful lot of stuff in such a little house

I don't think I've ever seen a more diverse range of different time periods than in this place. You've got antiques which could be from the 1920s-30s...a big CRT TV which looked like it was from the 60s or 70s, and the Coke machine which was at least that old...and then you've got the microwave which to me looked very 80s...and then finally a tap fitting which could be less than 30 years old, and an LED light. Something tells me that this place hasn't actually been abandoned for all that long. A few years maybe; but not decades.
As a retired insurance agent this house looks as if there was electrical fire. The homeowners must of had no insurance. The owner might have been elderly and unable to afford even the clean up and tear down of this home. You would not believe how often this happens with older people who can not afford insurance.

Wow, couldn't have been much of a fire - so much interesting stuff left untouched. You guys need to be equipped with hats, masks and a big tennis racket to swipe away the cobwebs!!
So much good furniture left behind. I wonder if it was too much bother to move or if it had a smoky smell.---I"m glad you checked the drawers. I have a lot of pens, some of them antiques, and was wondering if there might be some old pens still in the house.---From a one or two clear places on the wall you could tell someone had removed something after the fire. I agree: it looks like someone took what they wanted, left the rest behind.

Honestly, I watch so many of these videos of abandoned places. No one can figure out why all was left. I read that some of these places, NOT ALL, but some, were used as meth houses. And that is why no one can use them. Meth absorbs into the very walls, the paint, cracks crevices, floorboards, and especially the ventilation systems. They can't be totally rid of it, and you will get sick if you live in these houses even if you are told they have been, "restored". What's sad is that landlords know this and they clean these places up and rent them to unsuspecting people who get very ill and don't know the cause.
Just gotta say. That music you used when you went into the bedroom, on to the end of your video was a bit too creepy for me. I was expecting something to jump out at any time, at you. Still enjoyed the video though.

It's probably already leaking the roof...I like the old dining room suite the table and chairs and China closet and buffet...it's made by the Sears and Roebucks Co back in the 40s. I thought I saw a calendar on the wall by the 2nd bathroom. Maybe not. Awesome find! Yes, the music was creepy! On top of the buffet there was a Christmas Soldier, on the bottom of it reads Merry Christmas 2005. Also, seems to be a lot of different heating units in the place. Maybe cause of fire.

Yes. Appears that owner or owners maybe died in fire. Possibly no relatives left or ones that cared to save anything. I do have a suggestion though. When you're exploring if you would close things back after you open them it will preserve them longer. Someone may come along and purchase property & want to do that. Things like doors and drawers on furniture. Just a friendly suggestion. Thanks for the video
very interesting explore, not much water damage otherwise you would not have been able too open those drawers that easy. still some salvageable antiques there.
This place is awesome. Its like the people who lived here just moved out maybe yesterday. I'm sure there are a lot of treasures that have been left behind and could still be saved. Over time these things loose some of the burnt smell and can be cleaned up and reused. I lost everything I owned in a fire many years ago but the fire I experienced was way worse and I was only able to save a couple of things.
Friends house caught fire from lightning but stayed in the attic. They hired me to clean it up. I had to wash all the walls before I could paint them. All dishes, pots and pans and fabric had to be washed. It was a big job but I was much younger back then.
I really enjoyed this video even though it is sad that they had a fire. I agree that some of the furniture was definitely salvageable and would be beautiful in someone's home. Too bad the owner of this property doesn't retrieve, clean it up and sell what he or she no longer wants. I just can't understand how people can just up and leave their stuff behind...how can someone do that? Again, thanks for the great adventure!
I don’t think it matters if you show an old license plate either. We see current plates everywhere. I can’t imagine why it would matter. Thanks for braving the spiders and cobwebs to show us around. Interesting place!
Wow, a 3 wheeler! Those were banned back in like 1990 for being dangerous, and from that point on it was quads. Weird how the bobcat looks to still be in good shape, while the deer fell apart and fish got scorched. Heat might be why the hide came apart. It might have caused it to split. Bobcat was protected up in that corner, OR it's the cursed demon bobcat lol. Other people are saying they think the fire killed someone. Those black marks coming from the floor look like the point of origin. Yes, if the person was in the house asleep and had mobility issues, they could have died, esp if they were alone. A shame about the old soda machine in the outbuilding, and the possibly savable antiques in the house.
Yea 3 wheelers were dangerous but so were dirt bikes and what about your typical motorcycle. I don’t think a 3 wheeler was anymore dangerous than those other 2 motorized vehicles I mentioned, and what about those new 3 wheeled motorcycles that are on the roads.
It looks bad, but the fire probably happened in the past decade and then it went abandoned. Most likely someone who didn’t have insurance. Sad, really.

Wow they sure had a lot of stuff. I find it very interesting when others comment and speculate what happened. It is the items they know about from the past and the path of the fire. Like analyzing clues to a mystery. I also wondered where the fire started. That one bed was completely burnt to ashes while its frame remained. 10:14 Wonder why the frame didn't burn? Isn't that strange? That whole room was toasted yet the frame remained. What do you think? I will have to watch this one again...
that cat might not be saved due to the smoke smell.if i were you i would find the owner and make an offer on everything on the land as it might seem to be junk to them but if you have an eye for things you could make good money off it after a little work on it.
