For over 3 decades, I ran from God. I did not surrender wholly unto Him, I did not give Him my all~I was rebellious, shook my fists heavenward, fully enslaved and in bondage to Sin.
This all changed on my Damascus road on the 9th July 2019, borne on the embers of breast cancer.
As I fell through that dark valley, I was caught firmly within His loving arms and He has never let me go, He had never forsaken me unlike the countless of times I had forsaken Him. Like Jacob, I suddenly awoke from my day dream stupor steeped in the World and realized “ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it” Genesis 28:16.
I finally now know what it means to Love Him with my Heart, and it is beautiful as He IS beautiful and makes all things new.
