1 thing I want to add is for commerce graduates in india CFA seems tough bcoz they haven't seen the rigour of other exams like IIT JEE...for engineering graduates after going through IIT ,CFA exams are piece of cake .....there is NO CHALLENGE for IIT grads... Telling this from my experience
Congratulations! I do have a question for you. Are you already employed in the financial services industry? How has your job prospects changed since progressing through the CFA program and acquiring your CFA Charter? I have just passed my CFA Level 2 exam and will take CFA Level 3 next August 2025. I am preparing right now because everyone has said that this is the toughest? Do you agree?
Thank you Urmi for creating quality content. I really liked your "5 tips to passing the CFA Level 3 exam". Congratulations! I do have a question. What part of the exam was most difficult for you?
@@urmihossain ok thanks a lot for the clarification. I took the CFA Level I exam in May this year and Kaplan was an outstanding resource. So it's great to hear that for Level II it could be helpful as well.
Hi, I'm a non finance background student and i want to pursue CFA. Could please suggest any crash courses to build strong fundamentals before preparing for CFA level 1 exam. Thankyou.
thanks for a great interview. It was nice to hear the importance of understanding....and then speaking. I feel so impatient with myself in the speaking dept. when actually I have reached so many milestones in 'the language' journey
Great interview. My experience tells me that many candidates expect that once they get the Charter you'll be showered with job offers to become a top dog in finance. I must confess that I had similar aspirations myself early on. But I also found out as the program becomes more popular, employers will place a lesser premium on a candidate with such credentials. Hopefully anyone considering taking on the program will be aware of this before committing to such a uncompromising undertaking. Keep up the good work.
Great Content ❤your RU-vid channel and your video-making is very good. Your content ideas are very good. But Your Channel video views are very low. Video SEO are Not Professionally . you are not promoting the video. You should solve the problems marked red in the picture below. . Then you will get good results. The channel will grow day by day. Thank you
mam i am a engineer from NIT jalandhar and want to build carrier around stock market, equity research, portfolio management etc sir could you guide me how can make this thing possible
Before you do anything, it is important to ask yourself the reasons why are you not enjoying your current career choice and why you're leaning towards a career in the investment industry. Once you have a clear sense of those reasons, you need to take stock of your daily life and decide on the compromises (in terms of social & family events and other stuff) that you are willing to make in order to fulfil your ambition. Half-hearted intentions and efforts are a recipe for failure. Such a career change requires full commitment without the assurance that it will work out. I have a video in my channel that focus precisely on this topic. Feel free to have a look. And wish you the best of luck.
Thank you Urmi for having me on your channel. I had a blast recording this interview and wish the best of luck to all your followers who signed up for the CFA Program.
There isn't one that is best. You have to find the right one for you. I like IFT and Fintree. Mark Meldrum is good but his mocks are really tough. I didn't like Kaplan for Level 3. Hope this helps.
Great interview. Fabien's approach of teaching is very creative & different. I find his RU-vid videos, Podcasts & VIP Club content very interesting, diverse, comprehensible & enjoyable. I have learned so much & appreciate his work. Merci Fabien
Solving lot of questions is good but knowing stuffs from syllabus is equally imp. Doing questions only will not show improvement in scores over the period. Its my experience
thank you very much for your sharing , it is very helpful, however, i am sorry, i did not get the professor's name who you mentioned in the video that you took some videos, could you share it with me please, very appreciate
