I'm also passionate about clever marketing and extraordinary customer service. I started Messages On Hold in 1988 and in 2015 created Canity, an online customer service training platform for businesses.

Together with my wife, Tonya, I have also released the book Africa On Safari; a German-language edition was later published by National Geographic.

When I'm home, I spend weekends in Lancelin, a sleepy Western Australian coastal town.
