I won’t ever fault a cop but I don’t see how our Supreme Court was able to justify this as a “reasonable search and seizure”. I swear our constitution is a joke.
Now that's a cop. Keeping the streets safe while also being fair and friendly to the citizens. It's tough to balance those two but I think he's done a good job here.
So let’s get this straight. You can come over the border illegally with no papers. But when you’re here you get stopped and asked for papers with no crime committed? Have we learned nothing from the 1930s?
Checkpoints are illegal infringement on constitutional rights. You are only allowed to pull someone over if you witness them committing a crime or have evidence of a crime.
