2 questions for the Midas team representing the HD96air next week in Canada: 1) when will it actually ship 2) since the HD96air can be used either with or without fader bays: do they implement pinned channels to the screen area as well and when having fader bays connected how do we populate channels to faderbays, can every fader bay or even a part of it be an ‘area’? With the 9624 there’s area A and area B to populate channels to, so how is that thought out with the new HD96air and faderbays
Sorry Guillaume!!.. I'm a recent owner of a wing (can't have enough of your videos).. just wondering do you think the new arrive of a Wing Rack could imply a new firmware ? ( enjoy your vacation time )
@@snoopy4ever thanks for watching! It’s a safe bet that the new units will come with a new firmware update. What’s gonna happen? New features? No one knows at this point. Thanks for watching
@@ludovicasebashi5215 you can get up to 32 with 2 cables if you need. I can see it happening , the max of 2 ports will still be a limitation form the pro series / HD witch makes sense for the price range. We’ll see
Wow. I think you may be one of the fewer RU-vidrs who reviewed KZ earbuds coming from Temu. AND live at that! Edit: bought my pair from Amazon for 34 dollars and bumped it to 50 due to desparation! Nonethless, Temu is the better way if you wanna save!
Hi, I dont know much about sound but are KZ ZS10 Pro and Pro X better than most headsets for let say 200 USD? Are they good for games where knowing direction of the sound (footsteps etc) is important? Of course these are not 3d sound devices but games use channel mixing to simulate 3D.
I think technically they dont really need burn in. Because of the small size and low movement of the material. On speakers there is way more traveling distance, which means the material especially the "rim" (dont know the term in english for it) around the membranes which is quite stiff from factory, takes some time to get to its optimal condition in which it stays for years and years.
Thanks for great video, tell me please, with Behringer Wing can we have real time concert, mix it with wireless controll and real time do mixing and recording with Cubase?
I really wish they come out with a core. I run a m32c and dl32 for foh and monitors that lives on stage. I have a second m32c and a dl16 as a back up. I already have the stage boxes I just need a wing core to upgrade our main m32c. I probably have close to a thousand shows on it all mixing from an ipad....Its amazing what we can do these days and to think we'll be able to do even more trying to get those last few percentages of sound quality.....I just really dont need the extra in outs or the screen.
Hi 👋 Short answer is : DL251. Now, let’s talk about it, if you have the budget and to get the absolute best out of your WING, this is the most highend possible preamps you can connect to it. To be clear, a DL32 is not gonna be night and day difference here. I also like to only have 1 Stagebox to deal with to get 48 inputs and only having 1 cable. If you preferred quantity here, get 2 DL32. If your budget is more reasonable, a single DL32 will give you great sources. Personally I would recommend 3xDL16 to get more outputs options. Stick around as I will dive into stagebox soon here on the channel.
@@GuillaumeLortieokay. I currently use 3 s16s, but i was told I can get better sound from either of those choices (dl251/dl32/dl16). How would you describe the sounds of each box?
@@jesseojo it’s hard to do this over a single message but I’ll try to make it short : DL32/16 have a better overall response, you’ll feel you need to EQ a bit less and you’ll get less background white noise. DL251 is a different game, no more background white noise. You’ll EQ more to shape and enhance than correct and things will be easier to mix together. Things will fight less and you will have more space in your mix to rise some stuff. You’ll have an easier time to mix keyboard, vocals and guitars. It will feel less crowded, even with the same settings.
I love my cranky little Pro 1. Don’t forget to change the battery if you haven’t already. If the battery goes in the middle of a show, it becomes a bad day.
i don't know about the username it could be root, admin or midas but it would be funny if they keep the password donkey as reference of the king midas myth
Salut !
Booting the Pro1 with a HDD plugged in a USB port, you'll have to disable a "Boot from USB" in the BIOS, and/or change the boot priorities between HDD, USB, etc... What can you see if pressing <esc> while it boots its Linux drivers? you may get a list of things it loads in. You should also be able to use <ctrl-Alt-Del> key combination to reboot rather than power switch each time.
Which one woudl you recommend for gigging and practicing at home for a gutiarist? I'm going to conenct it to my helix processor. I've heard that zs10 pro boosts the low end a little bit too much and the samples in your video seems to support that.
Listening to this w my kz zs10 pro x. Love them. Had em about a year now. Just lost a Jabra elite bud at a kid fun park so I just got a Bluetooth dac so they can be my daily driver. Kz gets some hate but so glad I went down the rabbit hole a little and got a pair.
@@GuillaumeLortie Wow perfect! Thank you so much for the response. I love your videos. They are extremely well explained and easy to follow and make sense out of.
Great review indept guide on a musician's perspective however i was mainly looking for gaming purpose not music sadly if you do have any idea which one would you most likely recommend me for gaming?
