प्रामाणिकपणाचं फळ मिळतंच शेवटी. फक्त माणूस फाटक्या विचाराचा नसावा. भले कितीही गरीब असला तरी चालेल. आणि गरीब माणूसच आशेच्या पोटी आणि लालसेपोटी कधी कधी प्रामाणिकपणा विसरून आयुष्याचे मातेरं करून घेतो. या शॉर्ट फिल्ममधील डायरेक्टर आणि सगळेच कलाकार जणूकाही हिरेच आहेत. खूप अप्रतिम अभिनय आणि संकल्पनासुद्धा. खरं तर तुमच्या दुनियेत तुम्ही सगळेच अनमोल आहात. तुम्हा सगळ्यांचे खूप खूप आभार.

Such a beautiful movie covering sensitive aspects of teenagers, the complexities that they go through, the social media world making it even more challenging to handle....nicely scripted, directed movie....amateur artists in key roles but a fantastic job by all. Wish such a movie could have come in theatres for more people to see it. It should be shown it schools and colleges to spread the awareness. All the best to the entire team
*Ananya - What if.. A modern day Marathi cinema which highlights the dangers of social media* *Ananya - what if..* is a beautiful 2024 Marathi language full length feature film which highlights the dangers and negative impact of social media on modern day teenagers and youth. It is indeed a thought provoking film which every teenager and their parents must watch to understand the impact of social media on today's generation. "Ananya - what if.." narrates the story of Ananya, her friend Tanu and Richa, three teenage girls and how the abuse of social media turns their life upside down. Teenagers and their lively and colourful world, a craving to show off and post everything on Instagram and Facebook, use of social media to tarnish the image of a person and the cyber bullying resulting out of cold war has been effectively portrayed in the film. How parents must spend their quality time with their grown up children and try to guide them to handle new age technology, societal changes and norms has also been highlighted effectively by the director and writer. The topic has been beautifully presented through the film by noted director Shivaji Kachare, who also surprises the audience with his short but interesting cameo at the end of the film. Nikita Padhye as Anu or Ananya as the protagonist has done a fairly good job in the title role. Anu's friend Tanu has been comfortably played by Charuta Karandikar but needs to understand the character and study body language better. Of course, this is just begining. She will grow as an actor in the years to come. Darshana Jamnerkar plays Richa, a grey shade character in the film which she has played with much understanding and conviction as an actor. All three leading ladies have done a beautiful job and thumbs up to them. The film goes fairly well in writing, editing, music and background score. All the supporting cast have done their job well. Kudos to writer and director Shivaji Kachare who has presented the serious social issue of cyberbullying and it's grave impact on society in today's era of flashy insta reels and bold facebook posts. On the eve of International anti cyber bullying day, observed on the third Friday in June, I am happy to review yet another well crafted social drama by Director Shivaji Kachare. *Review* "Ananya: what if” is a very sensitive and compelling Marathi film that opens our eyes to the pervasive reality of cyberbullying and its profound impact, shedding light on the contemporary challenges faced by teenagers in the digital era. As our social media continues to evolve, so must our vigilance in addressing the potential pitfalls of the cyber world. The narrative of Ananya, encourages us to consider proactive measures for protecting our youth and creating a world free from harassment and bullying. This relatable story, will leave the audience contemplating on how different actions could have altered the course of events, urging us to foster greater resilience among teenagers. ‘Ananya: what if’ is essential viewing for teenagers, parents, policy makers and educators. पौगंडावस्था, समाज माध्यम, आभासी दुनिया आणि त्यातून उद्भवणारे भीषण प्रश्न आज जगासमोरील मोठे आव्हान आहे. जागतिक स्तरावर ‘ऑनलाइन अॅब्यूज’ करणाऱ्यांमध्ये अधिकतर समवयीनच असतात याशिवाय या बळी पडलेल्यांमध्ये मुलींची संख्या अधिक आहे हे संशोधनातून सिद्ध झालेले आहे. पोगो आदीसारखे ऑनलाइन खेळ आणि त्यातून निर्माण झालेल्या अगदी टोकाच्या घटना आपण पहिल्या-वाचल्या आहेत त्याने सर्वसामान्य मन व्यथित होते, अशाच अंगाने जाणाऱ्या आणि मन विषण्ण करणाऱ्या कथेची यू-ट्यूबवरील फिल्म म्हणजे ‘अनन्या, व्हॉट इफ’. प्रारंभी पहिली फ्रेम लागते ते अनन्यावर, अनन्या या शाळकरी मुलीच्या घुसमटून रडण्याने आणि नंतर ती बाल्कनीतून उडी मारण्यासाठी झुकते इथे हा शॉट संपतो आणि आपल्याला फिल्मचा बाज लक्षात येतो. अनन्या ही तनुची जिवलग मैत्रीण. दोघीही एकाच वर्गातल्या. सतत एकत्र राहून सर्व गोष्टी शेयर करणाऱ्या. तनू अनन्यापेक्षा मॉडर्नचा हव्यास असणारी आणि अनू म्हणजे अनन्या मात्र विचारपूर्वक वागणारी, रोज डायरीमधून व्यक्त होणारी मुलगी. यांच्या आयुष्यात त्यांच्याच वर्गातील आणखी एक मैत्रीण येते, ऋचा. ऋचा आईशिवाय राहाणारी पण उच्च वर्गातील मुलगी. तिचे वडील घटस्फोटीत आहेत. त्यामुळे थोडी बेफिकीर, स्वैर असणाऱ्या या मैत्रिणेचे तनूला आकर्षण वाटायला लागते आणि हळू हळू ती अनूपासून दूर व्हायला लागते. ऋचाही हेतुपूरस्सर तनुला अनूपासून दूर ठेवते. साहजिकच स्वत:पासून आपली मैत्रीण लांब जाण्याचा अनूला मानसिक त्रास व्हायला लागतो, ती एकाकी पडू लागते आणि त्यामुळे ऋचाविषयी तिच्या मनात संताप येणे सुरू होते. या संतांपाचा स्फोट तनूच्या वाढदिवसादिवशी होतो. आपली मैत्रीण आपल्यापासून हिरावून घेतली जाते या भावनेतून अनू ऋचाच्या कानशिलात देते. तनुसमोर अचानक घडलेल्या या घटनेमुळे ती अनुला तू इथून जा.... माझ्या आयुष्यातून निघून जा म्हणत अनुला अधिकच व्यथित करते. श्रीमुखात मारण्याच्या या अपमानाने ऋचा मात्र बिथरते, प्रचंड संतापते आणि मग सुरू होतो तिचे अपमानाचा बदला घेणे. या सुड घेण्याच्या प्रवासात गोष्टी किती टोकाला जातात, मनाने कमकुवत, घायाळ झाल्यावर माणूस साधकबाधक विचार न करता अविचारी बनत, शेवटचे टोक गाठण्याचा विचार कसा करतो हे इथे दिसते. माध्यमांमधील व्हायरल आपले फोटो आणि त्यावरचे लाईक्स यावर आपल्या आयुष्याची पूर्ती आणि धन्यता मानणाऱ्या या पिढीला फेसबुक, इंस्टा अशा भ्रामक आयुष्यात रमणे हे अधिक भावते. यांच्या वाढत्या वापरामुळे, निर्माण होणाऱ्या मानसिक असंतुलनामुळे उद्भवलेल्या प्रश्नांना तोंड देण्याची हिंमत यांच्यात राहातेच असे नाही. शिवाय या माध्यमामध्ये डिवचून-डिवचून आयुष्य नकोसे करणाऱ्या ‘बुलीजची’ संख्याही कमी नाही. यांच्या ट्रोलिंगमुळे मात्र कधीकधी अनू सारखी निष्पाप व्यक्ती संकटाच्या खोल-खोल खाईत लोटली जाते. यासाठी कुटुंबामध्ये सततचा संवाद, नातेसंबंधाना जिवंत मानवी स्पर्श असणे हे आजची गरज आहे हे फिल्म पहाताना पटते. हा समाज आणि हे जग ज्या वेगाने पुढे जातेय त्या वेगाच्या बेभानपणात वाहून जाताना होणारे अपघात टाळण्यासाठी, नाते मूल्यांना बळकट करण्यासाठी सततचा प्रत्यक्ष संवाद आपल्या पाल्याशी ठेवण्याचा संदेश ही फिल्म देते. समाज माध्यमे हेच फक्त आपले आयुष्य नाही हे नव्या पिढीतील भावी नागरिकांनी समजून घेतले पाहिजे. आयुष्य हे खूप सुंदर आहे, क्षणिक भावनेपोटी त्याला तडकाफडकी, अविचाराने संपवणे हे आपल्या माघारी आपल्या प्रियजनांसाठी खूप खोलवर आणि दीर्घकाळ क्लेशकारक ठरते. त्यामुळे विपरीत प्रसंग आयुष्यात तर येणारच पण त्या प्रसंगांना निग्रहाने तोंड देणे, पालकांना विश्वासात घेऊन सर्व काही नि:संकोच सांगणे हाच सर्वोत्तम मार्ग आहे हे, ही फिल्म पाहिल्यावर नवयुवक-युवतींच्या लक्षात आले तर या सिनेमाची फलश्रुती होईल
