Who are we? We're Stef and Bo, a Belgian couple of visual storytellers who left our ordinary life behind to travel the world full time in a van together with our cat Gizmo. Over the past two years we've converted a cargo van into a camper van that we now proudly call home.

😻😻 Wauw, what a surreal experience. Completely blown away of how you made this video!! To answer your question: yes I do think it's over glamorized, they make you kind of miss the point of the core essence of van-life or rather living a life in the entire world. It its a shame because it itself has become an ideal, like those beauty standards you see on social media or in magazines. When in reality, there are so many ways and every one of them is completely fine, as long as you it makes you happy. I think you also captured perfectly of how van-life can bring people from different backgrounds and lives together and connect in a beautiful way. Thank you for inspiring me and having me in your beautiful home!!! ❤❤❤
That’s what we feel too! People either associate vanlife with a completely stress free easy going life with picture perfect ocean back door views or either with being dirty all the time and running away from your responsibilities. It’s like there’s no in between, which of course there is like with everything in life. Living in a van doesn’t define who you are, it’s just an alternative way of experiencing life. Thanks for putting it so beautifully and joining us ❤️ we’d have to to it again!
Hello from Alaska! We have the Northern Lights here often. They are very beautiful and magical! I hope you guys get to see some soon! You will love them! ♥
We also didn’t get to see any unfortunately, we were sleeping soundly that first night when it was the best🤣 luckily we saw them in Iceland, March 2022, highly recommend visiting Iceland if you can / haven’t already but we’ve also heard Tromso or the Lofoten islands are great to see them too!
That's the way to do it! You did your research and learned from other people's mistakes, then custom built your vans interior as you needed and wanted. You both are incredibly smart! Many people don't realize how much planning is involved to make sure you got everything u want, it all fits in place, give it the best layout based on your needs, all while not exceeding the vehicles' max weight. I'm impressed and I'm proud of you my friends.
It’s been amazing to see different types of vans over the past few weeks 😊 Thanks guys! We loved your van too, it reminded us a lot about our earlier travels and how you don’t need much to have a good time
@@stefandbo Yes! We love seeing what other people do with their vans, its so interesting to see how you can have a similar space and end up with completely different results!
Planning for the 2025 RAM Promaster. With the options I want it's likely 70k for the van. As far as the build cost.. who knows after all this insane inflation! I'm picky like you guys so it would be nice and expensive 😄. I might do a mini series showing myself building it. My biggest obstacle is the weight of my chosen appliances, such as the Vitrifrigo you recommended 😀.
