3:40 This is why I question if I can be bothered with a proper drone. So much hassle, and you can't even fly out of sight now? Is it really worth the bother?

fuck the rules dude. they arent going to track every drone, and if you dont do that dumb ass registration thing they want you to do then how will they know it's you?

You can and it’s definitely possible and it can be al little intimidating in the beginning. But once you understand you will feel much more confident of your knowledge and why those rules are in place. Compare it to getting a driver’s license and you want to drive a car in the city. There are rules in place. But you can still drive and do a lot of driving 😅

You were never to fly out of sight before that’s what VLOS mean if you see it at 1000m then that’s in sight

@@TheDeadlyraptor Realistically nobody can see a hand-sized drone more than 100m except under the most ideal of circumstances such as the sun reflecting off it

You should definitely buy a drone, there are just a few extra steps you have to take before putting one in the air safely. Watch the video and you’ll find out 😉

These are the rules for Europe. I do think that the US and Canada have far more stricter regulations when it comes to flying are drone (depending on the area). But again if you do it correctly and safe and educated people why their are rules you have much more of an appreciation of what you know/learned

If you use your head and use the drone responsible no one cares if you don't have permit or a insurance. If your not a problem for anyone governments don't have the resources to enforce such rules anyway.

I quit all the silliness and just got a tiny pocket drone that goes up, gets a nice view and down again in about 60 seconds. It is however tempting me to go for a proper drone again... but I already have one I never bother using, due to the hassles of setting it up. If I do get another one it will be the Mini 3 and the Integra goggles, for that 'fly like a boid' vibe, but all this "pilot license" and "certificate" stuff, is just eeww
