Hi! My name is Benedict and I make piano videos with a reactive visualizer. I play anything from classical music to video game soundtracks and love making arrangements of just about anything. Thanks for taking the time to look at my channel and if you like what you see feel free to subscribe. I'll be posting videos relatively often and I hope to keep this going for a while.
I've had a bunch of questions about requests. Do I take them? Yes! I really value requests as it gives me guidance to what people enjoy and want to hear. HOWEVER - sometimes people assume that I'll just play anything they request lol. I have a pretty limited amount of time to dictate and practice new songs so if I do play any song/arrangement it's got to be one that I personally enjoy that's worth taking time away from my other responsibilities. So please send your requests my way, I appreciate it!! But keep in mind I get tons of requests and I have to be selective because of the time commitment.
This cover is so soothing, yet somber. I never felt the somber emotion it gives, but the serene feeling it emanates from the piano keys always lulls me to sleep. Even used it to help fall asleep with no problems.
@@BenedictFargus oh that's alright. I'm still stuck on the other sheets you sent me. The only one I can play reasonably well so far is another day with hope(but the original version, not yours haha)
GIs OST has to be one of the best in the video game industry. All of them are masterpieces, especially Moon in One's Cup. That thing is just beautiful.
This is one of my favorite soundtracks in Genshin Impact, and it makes me all teary-eyed every time I listen to it. There's just something about this song that really hits that spot in my heart. Thank you Benedict Fargus.
@@BenedictFargus OK so how long have you been playing piano before u made this video? I've started playing Jan 31, 2023 The original 1:1 piece I can match to 95-100% ur speed, but the arrange I can match like 75-85% your speed.

@@BenedictFargus wow okay i see. That makes sense now. Your arrangement sounds godlike, genius. In my opinion, if RU-vid and these videos existed back in Mozart and Beethoven days, people would learn piano watching videos like this. All I do Is copy your finger placements and memorize it. I have learned and memorizee 6 video game songs already from watching these kind of videos, and I play each song every morning when I wake up 4 times, then play about every song 5-10 times from evening to sleep.
Hello Benedict, I was wondering for future vids if you could have the bars come down into the keys instead of come out of the keys. I can’t read music so it’s a little difficult when the bars come out of the keys 😅 beautiful arrangements btw
i have actually learned stormterrors domain with the music sheet you sended me and its amazing sorry if im a bit of a fuzz but could you send me all the music sheets of the songs?(exsept the stormterrors domain) i would be glad(i cant find the exact music sheets from musescore,and i believe this is your arrangement thank you very much
any tips for someone learning the piano on how to make the left hand sound soft, like you do, while not making the right sound weaker? exceptional job as always btw Im going through all your past uploads haha also obligatory sheet music please haha Im adding all your pieces to my collection
As any piano teacher will tell you it just takes a lot of practice to get your hands to the point where they are more independent. I think that's probably one of the hurdles all of my students have to get over since your hands tend to follow one another. A good way to practice this is pull out some hanon exercises (if they're not too difficult) and practice making one hand louder/softer than the other through the whole piece and switch it up. Just takes a lot of focus and eventually you won't have to think about it near as much since it will just be natural to bring out the melody.
