Hello, not even a year old and already felt nostalgic, probably on how the game feels right now. Man playing this game the first time was really something.
*Remember the joy when you finally got to Liyue harbor following the path, and as you got up the path you saw a beautiful city, with great music and people, and a whole new world to discover?* *I sure do, I was smiling the whole way there... and hopefully others remembered it too, it was quite a journey* *Now that Inazuma is about to open up to players, I hope we feel the joy and sadness we once felt during the exploration and quests*
Wish I could've felt that way. I was playing genshin at school and a ''friend'' basically stole my phone and didn't want to give it back. He speedrunned almost all statues of the seven and defeated a few of the hypostasis bosses. Haven't played genshin anywhere near him since then.

@@BenedictFargus that sounds kinda disrespectful in some way... writing and arranging for orchestra is a thousands times harder than doing it to a single instrument...
@@tgl.9078 I don't think he meant any disrespect i think, but what he says does have some merit to it, since you also have to figure out how to make it sound good on just one instrunment, with an orchestra you have a wide selection of instrunments for each parts, not that writing for an orchestra is easy, i doubt it is, but what he really meant is that it was hard to adapt to piano because the song has sounds from multiple instrunments, so he has to figure out how to summarize all the sounds into just 1 piano, it also is hard work, hell music writing in general is hard.

But arranging for a whole orchestra is nothing like arranging for piano solo, it's even easier if you consider that orchestra directors don't have someone else's works as a reference. To consider each timber, character, melodies, voices and everything for each instrument and put it on a score making it sound cohesive is a lot harder than to just transcribe melodies to one single instrument. What that pretentious dude did is nothing compared to the real work of a orchestra director. Is like comparing tweaking with learning a whole ballet choreography.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the effort that went into the little parts of genshin like the tracks, they're all played so beautifully and are well implemented but usually looked over, to all the skilled instrumentalists that made these songs thank you for making the game so much more beautiful ❤

When it’s been a couple years and a lot more of the regions are released, and we barely go back to liyue or mondstadt unless maybe bosses, we’ll come back to things like this for nostalgia for the music and just that feeling of being there for the first time. When I first arrived in Liyue, I saw Wangshu Inn from the distance and knew that I had finally gotten there. I found a whole new place to explore and I was so excited and amazed. The music, the scenery, all of it was just beautiful. I hope to have the same kind of feeling when we get to Inazuma :) Sorry this was long lol
I started Genshin Impact not too long ago, and I just want you to know that I think this arrangement is really beautiful and that you did a wonderful job. I hope that you continue to grow and I hope I can be able to play this one day. 😊
i can imagine the springvale theme then it starts raining, yes i enjoy it when it rains and the springvale theme kicks in it's just like the audio is made for each other
I found this on my recommendations, and I don't regret at all clicking on this video. My favorites are the main theme and Qingyun Peak, because it feels like it really encompasses the whole "relaxing" idea. Good job! :D
GIs OST has to be one of the best in the video game industry. All of them are masterpieces, especially Moon in One's Cup. That thing is just beautiful.

As an old player (started at 1.2) this medley makes me want to try making a new account and playing the game again from the very start. The feels and nostalgia is too strong
i listened to this a while ago, little time after Genshin was released and i still came back to listen to this amazing cover. This is simply amazing and calming, do not ever think about deleting it. Keep up with the good work
Our internet is down, I couldn't play Genshin, I'm only using data and here I am listening to this song because I think I'm having a freaking withdrawal. I'm thinking about my resins (what a waste, it's already full by now), my daily commissions that I'll missed, and the extra primogems I'll get from that....
It's been a year and a half before I found this, and despite Inazuma being out for some time already, I still find Liyue music to be the best music. You haven't really been posting videos recently, but those that you make are just awesome. Hope you can find the passion to make such videos again.
Lol yeah it's been a crazy last year. I'm planning on getting some other videos out soon since life has finally slowed down a bit :) totally agree - Liyue is definitely my favorite out of all of them
genshin music is just so synoymous to playing the game itself, it is as if I don't remember listening to these songs, yet I catch a hint of nostalgia when I see a vision in my head of fighting hilichurls with my traveler and a prototype rancour. I feel the nostalgia, yet it feels so natural it is so faint and non-existent or maybe its cause I played this shit on an iPhone at low settingsso all I could see were unformed pixels and 2fps
