You are an excellent teacher and I love the gentle way you talk. You would make a great elementary school teacher because the kids would love your smile and kindness. Great video! I'm going to check your other videos to see if you show how to make home made Kombucha.
more isnt always better, typically why yogurt is easier to digest than milk kefir. you dont want to blast your gut with so many probiotics as its better to slowly introduce probiotics back into your diet. another con is the high vitamin A content and high calcium from milk kefir. the western diet is high in these compounds and really throws off vitamin balance in the body.
No body on youtube shows how to make kefir grains I don't even trust my grocery store to buy milk. I have stomach problems and the food at the store is poison. Honestly earlier generations are to blame for stuffing their face with poisoned food and investing in stores that make people sick. America the land of the fool.
I make my own kefir. I'll take 1/2 cup and the night before, add lemon or orange peel (remove in the morning), chia seeds, or flax, and/or wheat germ. I'll add 1/4 cup fruit: canteloup, blueberries, strawberries, etc. Then add some cinnamon or pumpkin spice. Yummm !!!
How do you use coconut milk kefir seeds? Do you put them in milk as well? Is milk kefir suitable for people having milk allergies? Thanks for this informative video. Pete ;”)
Awesome video. Like it due to colo/rectal cancer, I went through years ago. Kombucha home brewed is good, just started Keifer as it has more health benefits than standard Kombucha. Please keep the videos coming. Gut health is not a laughing matter to someone missing 10 inches of the lower colon/rectum. As I tell co-workers it all Depends.... can joke about that, as it really Depends...
I like drink I all the time, in 11oz cans, now I can't find it anymore. I was getting it at the 99.cent store now they a closed, I want more but don't know where to get it, can you help me out. I had three different flavors. Raspberry, blood orange and ginger. I enjoyed all three. Thank you for your help.
I like this kombucha but I only buy it when it's on sale at Costco once a year, I feel like that's a fair price, I usually get like 5 cases and keep it in the garage to make it more Sauer 😅, I just wish Costco will have a more often
I just started activating my kefir grains. The first day was good, went 24 hours and 1 cup of organic milk (although it was ultra pasteurized because that's all I could find). The second batch I added 1 1/2 cups same milk to the grains and 24 hours later it went crazy and over fermented the milk, separated the curds and whey, in Hawaii at about 80 deg. F. I still drank the kefir blending it with frozen berries and honey. I started the third batch with 2 cups of same milk, but I'm going to check it after about 15 to 18 hours this time.
GREAT video...thank you. I just got back from the store (looking for milk kefir grains). I was SO close to buying a powdered starter. I'm glad I didn't after watching this video.
I keep both of these grains at home - milk kefir grains and water kefir. Though, I never use cow's milk for my kefir, but goat's, full fat, preferably unpasterised, organic. My kids love both the milk and water kefir which tastes like homemade soda. I only ferment it once with pieces of peeled lemon and raw homegrown apple and a few tablespoons of sugar and a little bit of raw locally produced honey. 👌🩷
I like the taste of water kefir but I want to get the benefits of milk kefir so I am making both. I wonder if I drink them both, will the good bacteria fight in my guts? 🤔
This video was very helpful, thank you. I cannot have milk or coconut milk so water kefir is the only one for me. Will hat be still enough for my gut health? Thank you!
I came to see the benefits and the video was about the company and how they made millions, Who cares about all this? Once i started seeing where this video is going i'm looking for another video. I care about my health not what the company finances. But thank you for the effort, Not against a nice iformative video but it's a click bait sorta title.
