until Valve made the next big games consistently, then probably not i could see Left 4 Dead 3 being made after Deadlocked, whatever the next Half Life game is, more completed Source 2 and whatever other thing they're working right now. I believe Valve is really occupied internally and probably doesn't have anything planned for L4D IP until at least the majority of those projects are completed, but knowing valve we probably gonna wait until 2030 or more And to add on this, if Valve aren't confident with their new games being titled "3" because it's been soo long now, i wouldn't mind if we get a major update for L4D2 instead
My theory is, the guy in the new mafia trailer is Don Calo He became boss of the Sicilian mob in 1914. In Mafia 2, chapter 1- Vito is in San Celeste executing Operation Husky. The guy from the new mafia trailer (possibly Don Calo) is looking over San Celeste and sees the war happening, and maybe he doesn’t like that and steps in, ending the attack as we see in chapter 1 Operation Husky takes place in 1943 and Don Calo doesn’t die till 1954 In one of the screenshots for Mafia: The Old Country, we see a staircase similar to the one in Mafia 2 - Chapter 1 “The Old Country” and it shows broken glass and possibly dead soldiers along with the same flags.
I’ll be honest, I am hoping there will be a left 4 dead 3 someday, and I keep on imagining what it would be like. But my other side says that maybe left 4 dead is perfect as it should be. Maybe a remaster of left 4 dead would be nice, and my other side also thinks that maybe we should just import left 4 dead to modern consoles that are here with us right now (like they did with portal imported to the Nintendo switch). I’m still hoping there will be a left 4 dead 3 some day, and since we know about half life 3 that’s been leaked right now and could be possibly be made, my hope is a little restored by that news, since the news of half life 3 could potentially mean we could get 3rd sequels to valve’s popular games, that could potentially start a new era for valve, like portal 3, team fortress 3, and of course left 4 dead 3.
they should just partner up with steam as a separate studio so they can make a good left 4 dead 3 game, idgaf about their pride about not working and steam and shit but like cmon they obviously need someone good for their name and they have not done that yet since they separated from steam, steam made them and then they left steam and they lost it
well I mean they tried to make back for blood as left for dead 2 so people just disliked that joint so Idrk if it's entire valves fault I don't know Don't just wanna say things without facts but that could be one of the reasons idk..
5:12: Evangalo, Walker, Holly, Mom, Doc, Holly, Jim, Hoffman, Heng, Sharice, Tala (barely could remember Sharice) Back 4 Blood 2 is almost certainly coming, if it isn't TRS next game, then it will absolutely be the game that comes after it. The devs, more than once, have stated their passion and dream to make it into a franchise for years to come. You won't ever get Left 4 Dead 3 from it, but Back 4 Blood was a good game, it's just a different game and people need to learn to cope with that. Both L4D(2) and B4B are good games. If all goes well, Tencent will allow TRS to have a workshop in the next game, something which Warner Brothers absolutely made sure the first game didn't have, and that will be a huge help too. L4D3 was made, there's renditions of plantation made in Source 2, however as the rumour goes there were disagreements within the dev team for the direction of the game, what engine to build it on and the like. I doubt we will ever see a game that carries on the Left 4 Dead games, same with Portal and Half-life, at least not games that follow the traditional way they have made them (Alyx for an example being VR).
Only problem with l4d is that if they make a 3rd game they cannot add bills voice lines for the new infected since he passed unless they use AI to copy the voice but i just wont be the same
I would wait for lfd3 no matter what or how many years it takes i just got a pc last year so lfd 2 is even better but i mostly played it on xbox there is so much potential and its actually easy for valve to make a super successful lfd game that comtinues after the events they worked so hard they had over 100 workers if a lfd 3 ever came out from valve the potential would actually make it the best in the entire world i feel like imo
I remember when the L4D games came out. I enjoyed them both. After playing L4D2, I was hoping they would come out with a part 3, but as you said, it's been so many years, and we're still waiting. I Teenager when they came out... here I am now 34 years old and still waiting for LEFT 4 DEAD 3. It's not polite to get us all excited over something and then abruptly stop making them. Really not nice. But I still love and respect the first two games. Always will.

They strayed too far into RPG elements (which even just that small aspect was too much, let’s be real.)
On the thumbnail, all 3 are gonna be here except Peppone. I also thought we'd finally see how the two developed their bitter rivalry and how they removed Peppone, but it looks like it's gonna be good regardless if that happens or not.
Crazy to think, I was 12, not even in my teens, and now I'm closing in on the start to my 30s. Considering I play L4D2 on PC, I stopped caring about L4D3, I'm not opposed to it ever officially coming out, but I'm more than content with the PC scene
you know i think i have a solid plot for the l4d3 mabe open world or not you decide same game new characters by you will see old ones some new mechanics like climbing but not like other games leave some ideas down.
