Now with more experience with gauss, I can see some major disadvantages this has compared to just a normal sunder build. Building for sunder allows you to go full into ability range, with 280% range giving a 33.6m nuke, which is quite a bit bigger than the 20m from influence. Sunder nuking also ramps up in damage exponentially. A good sunder build can kill any units below level 1000 in base sp with three casts (two casts of heat, one cast of cold) Normal sunder builds don't use a melee so you can use praedos for more movement speed. Plus this build subsumes roar onto his 1. If you really want that extra damage from roar, normal sunder builds can also replace kinetic plating with roar and opting for shield gating/arcane aegis for survivability. The biggest downside imo is definitely the range reduction. I appreciate the attempt at something new, but I don't think this is better.
I think a lot of people actually do know this it's just that it's a play style that just burns you out. I absolutely love playing cypher but constantly doing that throughout a mission for 10 20 30 40 minutes. Way to repetitive for how I play Warframe. But fun when I want to use it
Stacking strength on frost is so pointless. You just need enough strength on his 4 to full armor strip and then as much range as possible (especially since no line of sight is needed). Increasing the damage of his abilities is pointless since you play him as a weapons platform. You need good duration, max range, decent efficiency (definitely not negative) and thats it. Going for max strength makes his built way to inconventient to play.
in regards to the Mesa with Archon Vitality: i may be wrong because im not too familiar with exalteds as theyve been changed serveral times, but since the heat damage is technically modded on does that even trigger Archon Vitality? Like how elemental sandstorm on inaros wont trigger any archon abilities?
So I made a build before watching this video and it’s almost the exact same but 2 mods and I have more total damage but 20% less status but it still absolutely shreds
mainly because Zephyr is from early 2014 and everybody already talked about it. also everybody i know agrees that you need the energy for tornado. and also everybody agrees that it does not 1-shot 99% of enemies even if you play "the floor is lava" for an hour.
