Ok I hadn't even thought about saryn built this way. I'm definitely copying this one. I almost never touch the sobek but I got on and tried it and omg wow it obliterates everything so easily

1 thing you can add to this synergy is mecha with the pharoah predasite that gives additional toxin dmg. The sobek/lash combo does really mean things as the Empowered portion of mecha is an additional multiplier

You could take this build even further using the Mecha Mods set bonus which works with acid shells, toxic lash, and a primer. Using a single target primer such as dual grakata makes it even more insane. Pair this all with a pharaoh predasite with the toxic dps mod and yeah it’s broken as hell. 2 corro shards made Saryn with sobek even better 😵‍💫

Well this got me very excited, haven’t played saryn in more than a year despite her being among my fav, this should knock the dust off my old (now ineffective) build

For the Sobek build what would replace for a Riven and what Riven stats would you prioritise? Standard cc/cd/multishot?

What do you think about Growing Power and Augur Reach instead of Brief Respite and Umbral Intensify? I've been playing without umbral intensify and using growing power and it already does so much damage, even with a free slot. I don't see the need for even more damage, however more range always comes in handy.

This is identical to what i built except i don't like carrying augurs on secondary so i went the catalyzing route. I also have a tox/grineer/pt -imp riven which further makes it stupid. Melee influence jat kitagg is similarly stupid.

saryn probably the most overkill warframe in the game, nice saryn build btw

Some brilliant but unpopular frames that might be fun would be Ivara, Limbo, or Vauban. They’re all quite unique, and have infinitely scaling damage, so it might be interesting.

Venom Dose is really slept on. I did a saryn/ignis build to see how viable it would be on Lua survival, and it actually melted level 225 corrupted heavy gunners fast enough to be viable. This was before the emerald archon shards.

FYI the eject magazine/reinforced bond interaction is a bug that only works when your are the host of a mission

Dont missunderstood this is a saryn build focus on sobek kuva, we can do powerful builds focus on other weapons w almost same results it just matter of having time and know how saryn plays. Good video.

very cool build, I was just wondering, obviously you use two emerald shards for the 14 corrosive stacks, but the other shards going towards 30(45 tau)% more damage on toxin status effects, is it not worth using the "gain 15% ability damage on enemies affected by corrosive status" since her spores inflict corrosive with the augment? or is the extra damage on toxic lash just way better?

Ay time to make my saryn a bit more viable

does the green shard with the corrosive dmg option increase the dmg ticks of her 1 skill? i just stand around and use her 1 in ESO so maybe better then toxin dmg since I dont shoot a lot

Isn’t nourish better in-slot than roar? Given the extra status spread (not that its needed but it doesn’t hurt), increased damage and most importantly huge energy income. Would make up on energize to free an arcane slot to use something else.

Is there a mod you would replace on your sobek for that new "Clip Delegation" mod in the nightwave rewards?

I run my Saryn with mostly a tanky umbra melee build, but all the Sobek chatter recently got me to dust it off and give it a whirl. I quickly remembered why I had been using it all those years ago! I was already running Venom Dose and Nourish so I could build my weapons for Gas (more DoTs with Toxin) and either Cold (handy for slowing demolists) or Electricity (Ceti Lacera + Melee Influence + Condition Overload is silly on Saryn). Even though I'm running a lot less PS the Sobek is still an amazing fit.

So i tried this build its good but the definition of glass canon the shards are on the video but it isnt that hard to decipher if you read. The double cap for corrosive to max armor strip double toxin dmg as toxic lash gives toxin dmg pls the dot of it. Apart from the cast speed thats godly on almost any frame. If you are struggling with survival you will have to give up some dmg. Take out blind rage change it for catalyzing shields. It will lower your dmg overall but it will improve a lot energy economy and survival if you aren't used to micromanaging. If for some reason you are struggling even then with energy economy you can subsume instead of roar nourish but it will decrease your dmg even more. If you dont have arcane energize or idk you want to use another arcane you can change stretch or an augur mod for equilibrium and mod the companion for synth synergy. You can also select a predasite or a vulpaphyla they have over 1200 shields with redirection so instant bound fire rate you can also mod it for mecha set to have a lil more utility/dmg. Visir and panzer are good for this build. I think thats all. If you get idk slash status use molt it cleanses so i wouldn't recommend to subsume something there as for the 1 and 3 it explains itself. 4 miasma its good the cc it gives but its also the only skill you can do without so subsume over it. (If for some reason you want to use rolling guard instead of something idk seems overkill but you can subsume over molt then).

Hi! I got a riven mod for Sobek what stats should i get for it and what mod would it replace?

I'm running a full umbral eclipse saryn that gets like 99.5% DR and Arcane Grace to just health tank the shit out of steel path and pretty much AFK while spores wipe rooms

I use nourish for easy viral spread and as an addon to arcane avenger

Is it ok to use unairu focus school for knockdown and use power drift and replace augur secrets with regenerative molt?

If you put this gun on xata nekros and use amalgam ripkas true steel mod. I think you can farm like a crazy.

Awesome video, everything so well explained. But I have to say, I HATE FACTION DAMAGE MODS. They are SO absurdly strong for something almost no one finds fun (swapping mods between every mission).

legit just playing this, stopped to eat and put on this vid still prefer torid spam in most situations but sobek + a comfy campsite is some braindead fun, perfectly safe just watching numbers fill the screen red arrows on the map disappear green shards & precision intensify really sent it to the moon

Sorry if i missed an obvous explenation in the vid but will does build funtion well on other qeapons like torid and daul ichor and secondly i dont have energize so would replacing roar for nourish for some energy and a 3rd damage type from the viral work work?

Could you add nourish onto saryn & then mod for corrosive onto the sobek to get the same effect & save a mod slot technically. I got nourish on my saryn is all & was thinking can i do this insead. Edit: dw video answered that. ill copy the build tomorrow to test it. :) cool interaction.

Does eclipse offer the same triple dmg dipping as roar? Im struggling to stay alive even with shield gating. Im sure its a me problem but being able to switch to a 75% dmg reduction on demand would be nice

I really wish de would address acid shells LoS not working. Even mild elevation is enough to break LoS and just shits on the damage potential.

I'm running 3 tauforged greens for toxin and pumped the strength to over 300%. Subsumed miasma for roar, with venom dose and contagion and a burston incarnon with a riven with viral/rad/heat. It kills sp enemies like they're level 30 enemies. It's pretty wild. Torid is also fun, but my broke ass doesn't have a spicy riven for it yet. Lol

The other 2 green shard what buff they have?

Is saryn just as good with the Cedo? Or is Sobek just clearly better?

Hot Take: Natural Talent should be an exilus mod and I find myself using this mod on nearly all my main warframes. 2 Casting shards can double or triple your damage output on caster frames. Yellow Shards are the best shards in the game outside of the gimmick hybrids you have to fuse. Fight me
