Great video. I’m an air gunner and airguns and bows have some similarities as air guns dispatch game through blood lose as our projectiles don’t have enough velocity to induce much in the way of hydrostatic shock. I was wondering if you might provide some feedback as to what you think the effectiveness of this projectile would be in hunting game the size of white tail deer? The target is a 5 gallon jug of water for reference. The projectile is around 330-340 grns at about 860-870 fps. Thanks for any feedback! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_h2NYY3_LXo.htmlsi=C0blI2xjHnNhVWWV
I've been bo hunting for over 40 + years and I will tell you that bubble level plays a factor there's a purpose for it. Whether or not you using or not it's totally up to you. But when you're getting a lot of left and right shots at 3D target or any form of stationary targets you're gonna realize that you're canting your bow. That will play a bigger factor when you have broadhead on that arrow and you're shooting from an Elevated position with an animal possibly moving, it's Different than shooting at a stationary Target and you're realized that if you Don't reference that bubble you're gonna get a lot of bad shots on Animals. Another thing you don't hear the so-called professional hunters on these podcasts as you have to pick your spot pick a hair on the animal and pour a whole throw it that's the only way you're gonna be consistent.
I just cook it slow and low in the oven with some butter, garlic salt, pepper rosemary and thyme about 200 to 250° three hours on each side, and then I’ll broil it for about 10 minutes on each side at 350° Tastes better than steak.🤠
Real nice bird graduation. Enjoyed your video and you got yourself a subscriber. I have my own channel also I usually hunt ohio and Kentucky for turkeys. My Kentucky turkey hunt video coming out soon, hope you check it out.
I’m on a diet as well, walking is great for burning calories and long term increasing rate of energy, fruits like berries are grate sources of vitamins while also containing a lot of sugar that reacts to your body similarly to processed sugar, so I recommend including some lettuce or bell peppers to eat before the fruits so it lowers glucose/sugar spikes, that way the benefit of walking can be enhanced with the benefit of less glucose/sugar spikes, of course it is completely fine to have fruit, and sweets though. I’m sharing what I learnt from my journey so there’s no pressure or expectation to listen to me, I’m hoping I can help any way I can, have a lovely day☺️
Appreciate the info. I’ve been lifting and doin callistinics cardio. Down 19lbs and still goin strong. Life change is hard but it’s gonna be great. I do meal prep. Carbs, fats, protein. Really good balance. Keep after it 🤟🏻
I know very little about Archery. My hand strength isn't an issue with the recurve, but after shooting for about 30 min it starts to tear the sh*t outta my release fingers. Do you need a d-loop to use the trigger? Or can I use the release directly on the bowstring?
Just stumbled upon your RU-vid channel and wanted to give you the biggest shoutout and tons of respect for putting yourself out there and working so hard. I'm really proud of you and excited to see you kick some more ass. Lifting with rusty weights not making excuses is why I know you're gonna kick ass and make it. Much love from Berlin!
I have both the Buckshot and the Viper. They are both great stands with pros and cons. The only real drawback of the Buckshot is the arms are not comfortable at all with the traveling adjuster (sharp edges). They need to make some king of pad the fits over it and still allows for on the fly adjustments. The only other minor issue is if you are not very careful when attaching the cable lock in place it can make a loud metallic clank. Great review.
