I've been a butcher for 34 years. I have play cyst on my right wrist. I started doing this about a year ago. Shot a stud Gobbler this spring with my Black Widow and my release. I shoot fingers still but much tighter groups with the release. I still keep rubber finger tabs on my string below the d loop for shooting 3 under.
We own a BBQ joint and I have the SAME issues. 15 years of cleaning and slicing brisket hasn't helped the arthritis 😂. Put a D loop on my recurve today and bought a Lil Truefire release.
Great video! I've been shooting my recurve with release, the jaw on bowstring, but this D loop is good idea I'd like to try. What knot you use to tie it onto bowstring Jason? Thanks for your video!
Hi Jason, Greetings from Germany ive been shooting also with the D loop on my recurve and its definately a challenge . Damn thing jumped outa my hand twice already , Im a string walker so its quite different but like and will continue . hell who knows someday i might be good enough to make a video . thanx for the videos very inspiring … Hand held High Peace ✌
Game changer I did the same on my sas scout but I can hold a 55lbs longbow so this makes the ankor even better at holding for a shot haven't hunted with it yet might try some rabbit soon
