@quadsquad2.0bigtimeriding22 these bikes have a "threadless" headset and stem, which means they are not designed to raise the handlebars from the factory. You can aquire a "stem riser" that will raise the stem a couple of inches, but it isn't recommended by the "purists" in the bicycle community. You can also install handlebars with a taller rise that will look more "organic" than the stem riser, and you may be able to get the handlebars from SE so that they match the paint job on your bike as well. @@leesbicycles Still going wrong, I found your video trying to figure out how to remove rear wheel to fix the tube. Those morons installed some extra bits of steel that make the removal impossible. Ebike is still on my yard partialy disassembled and God himself cant remove the fukin rear wheel

Thanks for the Build, looks like the handle bar is one height, locked by the factory. I will need to opt for either a shorter stem, or an adjustable one to get my comfort, thanks for the build, glad I went to the local shop and done for free while shipping was way out of price range
Yes. You are correct. An adjustable stem is one option to accomplish your goal, and the Adventure 1 has one installed as a stock part. You could also change the handlebar itself to one that has a better profile for your needs. Thanks for watching 👍😁
@@leesbicycles thanks a great tip, I’ll check in to that, I know a new bike needs getting used to, I may take a trip back to the Bike store, but I’ll check online to see if I can find a better type handle bar. I will look at the discontinued Adventure one online, do a little more research, again thank you for the advice and tips.
update: returned to the Shop, talked to the owner, Person I tried the bike with, the medium, told me it was a Large, and sat on today a medium there is a difference, I am in between the medium and large, the technician changed out Free of charge the Stem, put the C3 on that was on the medium, its better, but I still have coming a adjustable 120 degree Stem. that will offer me my difference , I am still going to look for a Handle Bar, and that to me will be hard to find on line, as well a seat. thanks again for the quick answer and advice FISH

Unless you wear a size 21 shoe, you should have no problem with pedal clearance. These bikes are very well thought out and we have never had any issues with pedal clearance. 😁😎👍
5:20 uuummm whats "that" called....its not called a "flange nut" or a flange nut cap. lol. I need to order one for a bike, but no clue what "thats" called. I figured someone on youtube must be reading the instructions as they assemble these bikes... lol, that thing, or just make up a name for it, . lol. The name of that part is on the instructions.
As a matter of proper assembly practices, I always grease the spindles of the pedals. A frozen pedal can damage your pedal wrench and may cause the threads in the crank arm to strip out too. You can use whatever lubricant you have to keep the pedals from seizing up, but I will always recommend this step in my assemblies. 😁👍
But did not really show chain tensioning , how to center wheel or adjust brakes. Just the screws and you don't wanna play w those too much they are factory set. I have this bike n watched your video to install. I had to goto bike shop to adjust brakes n true rims
I just bought one of these bikes, how do I lower the seat? When i loosen at the pole of the seat it seems is a low as is going to go but I'm not really short so I don't get it??
Depending on which model of SUN brand trikes you purchased, the seat post should only be lowered as far down as the "tapered top" of the post. If your trike has the rear support brace for the seat, you should be able to take the 17mm bolts off and adjust the seat height by changing which of the 4 holes in the support you need for proper height. Be aware that there are 2 different support braces available. One is standard issue. The other is an optional taller version for riders over 5' 10". I hope this helps.

You can add gears to the rear axel with a derailleur, but not to the front. There is no place to mount a front derailleur on the frame. These also are available as a 3 speed or a 7 speed like the Baja Trikes have.
Yes, I have several torque wrenches. The SE website has some of the specs listed and some of the parts on the bike have specs stamped into them listed in nano meters.
Nice video: It would be great if you could make one showing the installation of the optional coaster brake kit. I am afraid to order it because reviewers say it doesn't come with instructions and I am afraid I won't be able to figure it out. I have the exact same bike as the one in this video.
Also, the conversion can be a little tricky. It all depends on what is included in the kit. If it's actual "Sun Bicycles" going on the "Sun trike" than it will have everything you need.
I have just ordered the 2021 version in black/gold, can't wait! I was initially looking at buying a GT, but the SE BMX bikes were on special offer in UK, saved at least 40% in retail price!
Is it necessary to align the rear axle to the front wheel by measuring from the ends of the rear axle ( both sides to the front fork?Thanks for the great video.
