@@jsjdhwbsbwbbq It had huge hole in the #5 cylinder from the previous owner so I tossed it. No real point in replacing it with a 6.0 when you can run up to 7L on the same block w aftermarket thicker sleeves. A 6L block with its factory sleeves isnt really good for more than 1k hp before the sleeves and cylinder walls crack under pressure. At least thats where mine started to come apart.
Way too much unfortunately. I tried to keep track of it at first. I stopped counting after like 80k. I've rebuilt it a few times. Just an investment in fun with no exit strategy.

One boost activated and 2 on RPM switches over 6k. It keeps up. Dual fuel lines, one to each side of the rail.
I couldent find anyone so I did them myself. Made a jig to hold alignment with the rotary cutoff wheel and sliced them 60/40. I threw away the two 40% sections and Tig welded the two 60% sections together after getting them aligned perfectly with a micrometer to within 0.050 width. Scrapping two cheapo police car rims @$100 ea seemed easier than trying to get a metal band the right size and then having twice as many welds and aligning to do.

I don't think I was actually going to do it, but I was still interested to see if it could be done. I think I came across Detroit steel wheels. I'm not sure if they said they could do it? Or if they could make a set of wider steel wheels. If you were to do it for someone, what would you charge?
No lie. The original held up shocking well, but too many burnouts cooked the LSD and I’m running a 218mm Camaro diff I set up with 3.23s and an Eaton Truetrac now. I launch under 2,500 and no boost and that helps a lot.
In Australia we had the HSV Grange with the 3.7 rear and it’s a good compromise for Street and strip. 10.20 is a cracking 1/4 time with 3.23’s with under 1000whp especially in a 4000lb limo!

That looks very controllable for a machine pistol. Add a folding or detachable stock, a vertical grip, and a red dot sight and it would make an excellent PDW. Plenty of compatible RDS and grip options are already on the market, we just need to see stock options like we do for Glock and B&T pistols to make the Maxim 9 PDW a reality. The Maxim 9 doesn't have an attachment point built into the frame for a stock but since the frame isn't the serialized part a stock-compatible frame may be released as an accessory. It could use proprietary, Maxim 9 specific stocks or simple provide an attachment point for the aforementioned other modern handgun SBR stocks and braces on the market.

You need 2 main licenses. First you would have to have a "Fedal Firearms License: Type 07" to be a dealer of NFA (National Firearms Act) regulated weapons. This allows you to legally engage in business buying/selling any normal or Class 3 weapons. Class 3 weapons are; short barreled rifles and shotguns, silencers, machine guns, disguised guns, and destructive devices (artillery, mortars, grenade/rocket launchers, etc...). Then you would need to get an extra "Special Occupation Taxpayer: Type 02" add-on to your FFL-7. This allows you to legally MANUFACTURE Class 3 weapons, except destructive devices (those require a separate SOT 3 add-on to manufacturer). It's similar to getting a motorcycle endorsement added to your driver's license, but more expensive. Usually silencer or machine gun manufacturers just use the term "07/02" as a short way of referring to their required licensing. However, any civilian that can legally purchase a pistol, can also apply directly to the ATF for registration/permission to manufacture a NFA item, except full-auto (because the registry for civilian transferable machine guns was closed in 1986). You just have to fill out an ATF "Form 1" and send a $200 check + some specific identification info. This can even be filled out and submitted online w/ a debit card. Then you can start making it as soon as you receive the approval, which is called a "Tax Stamp" (but it actually looks like any other paper form). Though each tax stamp is valid registration for only 1 individual item, so if you want to make multiple things they'd each need their own 'stamps' (you'd submit a separate form 1 & $200 fee per item). Each 'stamp' is tied to a specific serial number which must be engraved somewhere on the device. Manufacturers with an FFL-7/SOT-2 don't have to pay or wait for approval to build these devices. They're instead required to file and submit a "Form 2" as a notification with the same info about the specific item (it's serial #, maker's logo/mark, caliber, name, etc...). They can legally convert/build full-auto guns in the same way, they just can't transfer them to civilians. (Civilians can legally only own, buy, or sell machine guns originally registered prior to 1986). But everyone, even an 07/02, still has to wait for approval before anyone can Transfer possesion of any NFA regulated gun or device. Every NFA purchase/sale has to wait at the seller's until the transfer is officially approved. It's actually easier for most 07/02 manufacturers to make/convert their own machine guns than to buy them already done from another manufacturer (legally speaking, whenever someone converts a semi-automatic gun, to full-auto, the ATF considers it a newly manufactured machine gun)
It's also possible for 1 gun to require multiple tax stamps if it fits multiple categories of class 3 weapon. Eg: If a regular semi-auto Maxim 9 pistol, similar to the one in this video, had a stock added to it. It would then qualify as both a short barreled rifle and a suppressor, requiring 2 separate tax stamps for the same serial number. (Any gun with a stock is legally defined as either a rifle or shotgun (depending on if the barrel is rifled or smooth-bore), rifles have a minimum barrel limit of 16", for shotguns it's 18") So if you buy something like that as a civilian you'd have to file 2 transfer forms (ATF "Form 4") plus send the ATF $400 for 2 tax stamps. If you bought it as just a semi-auto silenced pistol, it'd transfer with just 1 'stamp'. Then you could pay and file a Form 1 to attach a removable stock. Now it's a a 2 stamp gun again, even if the second qualifier is added later. If sold to another civilian it'd require the buyer to submit 2 separate Form 4s. If the buyer is an FFL-7 dealer then they submit 2 (tax free dealer transfer)"Form 3" files. But the next civilian buyer they sell it to would still have to pay the ATF for the double Form 4 tax fees. (the $200 fee every time a class 3 weapon or silencer is built by, or transferred to, any civilian accounts for one of the ATFs bigger sources of funding) However, there is a big exception. Full auto trumps everything and only requires 1 tax stamp. So the actual machine pistol seen in this video only requires 1 tax stamp because it's not a separate removable suppressor (can't be put on another gun), and machine guns have no barrel length requirements. You could even put a stock and/or a foregrip on it without filing any extra paperwork. However, since it was clearly registered as a machine gun after the 1986 ban, it cannot ever be transferred to a civilian, only to another FFL-7 dealer, a law enforcement agency, or the military (not to an individual member of either, but to the organization itself) Plus, some states outright ban civilian ownership of certain NFA weapons or suppressors.
