10.2 @ 143 mph is my best so far. Still working on the launch. Going to be hard to be the fastest Chevy Caprice out there, but I’m trying. Still full weight and all original features. Big trunk means I can carry 100% of my gear with me. Jack, slicks, fuel, tools, spares, air compressor. All onboard.
2013 PPV Phantom black (father son project car) 974 RWHP 823 RWTQ 10.2@143
LS3 stroker 417ci, Lunati crank & rods w/ Malhe pistons. 11.5:1
Procharger P1-X w 3 core IC and race valve. 15 psi boost E85
Water/Meth + 150hp N20
BTR custom cam 235/257 .638/.629 116, BTR shaft rockers Johnson 2126 lifters
BTR Trinity intake Kooks headers w/ Solo exhaust 3"
CDT Level 4 trans build w triple disc TC
Holley 120lb injectors
MT ET Street R 305/45/R18 on 10" widened OEM wheels.

Dang, that’s a killer time for a full weight Caprice! I see the injectors in your description, what are you using for the rest of your fuel system?

One boost activated and 2 on RPM switches over 6k. It keeps up. Dual fuel lines, one to each side of the rail.

After you widened the wheels did the 305 fit or did you have to modify the car?

I have a 3/8” spacer ring and had to flatten out the gas fill tube a bit. That’s all.

I couldent find anyone so I did them myself. Made a jig to hold alignment with the rotary cutoff wheel and sliced them 60/40. I threw away the two 40% sections and Tig welded the two 60% sections together after getting them aligned perfectly with a micrometer to within 0.050 width. Scrapping two cheapo police car rims @$100 ea seemed easier than trying to get a metal band the right size and then having twice as many welds and aligning to do.

@@atwelltactical2664 That's awesome. I remember at one point I was looking around to see if someone would widen my wheels. I don't think I was actually going to do it, but I was still interested to see if it could be done. I think I came across Detroit steel wheels. I'm not sure if they said they could do it? Or if they could make a set of wider steel wheels. If you were to do it for someone, what would you charge?

No lie. The original held up shocking well, but too many burnouts cooked the LSD and I’m running a 218mm Camaro diff I set up with 3.23s and an Eaton Truetrac now. I launch under 2,500 and no boost and that helps a lot.

In Australia we had the HSV Grange with the 3.7 rear and it’s a good compromise for Street and strip. 10.20 is a cracking 1/4 time with 3.23’s with under 1000whp especially in a 4000lb limo!

Way too much unfortunately. I tried to keep track of it at first. I stopped counting after like 80k. I've rebuilt it a few times. Just an investment in fun with no exit strategy.

@@microsuck1brother this thing is a beast. I’m an avid fan of police interceptors and the caprice stands out as king in my opinion. I’m on the look out for something similar, casual but gnarly. Keep it up

@@jsjdhwbsbwbbq It had huge hole in the #5 cylinder from the previous owner so I tossed it. No real point in replacing it with a 6.0 when you can run up to 7L on the same block w aftermarket thicker sleeves. A 6L block with its factory sleeves isnt really good for more than 1k hp before the sleeves and cylinder walls crack under pressure. At least thats where mine started to come apart.
