Hello and welcome to my RU-vid channel. This is a space for anyone who would like to learn about weaving with Willow, other natural materials and how to grow and manage this incredibly versatile material.

My name is Joe and I’ve been weaving since 2004, teaching since 2009.
I love teaching and I’ve been lucky to get to teach the world’s oldest craft to thousands of people over my career across the UK and occasionally internationally.

Weaving, especially with Willow is meditative, engrossing, the weaver can easily lose hours in creating, it’s a little bit addictive. Best of all you get to make something, often useful too.

I’m always developing ideas to enable pretty much anyone to be able to weave, from simple makes that take half an hour, to more complex creations. Some strength is required, but weaving will also make you stronger! I encourage everyone to have a go.
