I am curious. Is there anyone that made a custom case for miniPC like this and made a custom cooler too so the processor can go as fast as it can without limited by thermal.
I dont own a pc, im able to download the files straight from gog. Will this not work? I'll have to wait to try it myself as i have a 24-plus ultra. Thanks in advance
It's cool but it sounds like the same screen of the legion go. I supposed it's a portrait mode and probably there will be problems with amd AFMF. I would prefer 8'' oled screen 90Hz and VRR, in landscape. I am willing to order one but I am considering Asus Rog Ally x...
First of all I am not a very techy person but I had a computer class before, I was wondering does the power supply powers up automatically without connecting than pin thingy on a desktop switch?
Hardware looks good, but I just find the Windows experience (in handheld mode) on these devices too jarring. I've put ChimeraOS on my Legion Go (which works well), and until there's a windows mode (or app) that provides someting more like Steam's "big picture" mode, Windows on handhelds is a "no, thanks" from me. Don't get me wrong - the different manufacturers' (Armory Crate / Legion Space / OneXP CC) apps, or 3rd party apps (Handheld Companion etc.) are mostly fine, but Windows keeps interrupting (updates, notifications etc.) and dragging me back to the desktop (which is the jarring aspect). Never thought I'd miss the Windows 8 metro interface...
I saw some mini PCIE version of that eGPU, will it perform the same? My Mini PC has on 1 M.2 slot, and Ive been thinking to put it on the wifi adapater's mini PCIE .
Do not buy any Onexplayer devices. Their actual devices are no where near what reviewers are showing. If you view their Discord channel, there are many complaints of battery not charging, unusable webcam and microphone, eGPU not working etc. Their customer support is horrible and reject all problems.
They're all already thick and heavy. Why the heck won't they put a laptop GPU in one? Just make it thick screw it. Hell, even have a battery that takes up the entire surface area and stack it in the back if you need to. As long as it's comfortable I don't care if it's 5 pounds. I want modern performance not GTX 1060 3gb power
