Did you use completely new water or water from your bigger tank? Did you change the water daily with completely new tap water that you treat? Where did you put the betta while you were changing the water? What kind of filter for such a small space?
Any smaller, and they are super hard to feed. I ended up with 22 of these little guys barely out of the pond. (released a lot of them after I fed them for a bit). The only thing small enough for them to eat at the time was ants and fruit flies (I got one of those flightless breeders), and a handful of ants from my garden. Now they are big enough to do multiple waxworms. Hopeing to diversify their food soon as well.
that rock looks so sharp! consider not adding sharp decorations to a betta fish tank please! lest we risk tearing their delicate fins and opening ourselves up to stress and infections
What r u feeding them lmk i have one of those frogs but he only has eatin worms which cant be good cuz in the wild they eat a variety hoppin help plz help
Those are called wax worms and can be found in most pet shops . Though I don't recommend only feeding them wax worms as they are very high in fat. Dubias roaches are a good protein as well as the occasional small mealworms and small crickets. Hope this helps ☺️
Same here, I just posted the same question :( my betta is just literally floating on his side at the top of his tank & I’ve been keeping his water super clean & adding salt but he won’t eat 😢
We have just gotten a baby tree frog and he always seems so scared and doesn’t eat, I’ve give it small crickets but it won’t eat, I don’t want it to die, what should I do
I've got two baby milkfrogs and was scared to but the fruit flies in my terrarium. Box feeding is like heaven for them and the get used to me to. They are much more chill to my touch now and dont jump a way like crazy. Thank you so much from me, shelly qnd eric 🐸❤️
I was gifted a frog randomly so I've been trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can, it's been a few days since I got him and a little bit less since I was able to put him in a proper terrarium. He still hasn't ate yet, thanm you for the tips
I have a very young whites tree frog that wouldn't eat from my tongs and I was worried he wasn't going to make it. I just watched this video and tried box feeding and he gobbled his crickets right up. Lewis the frog and I thank you very much, you may have saved his life. God bless 💚🐸
i seriously cant thank you enough. ive tried everything and THIS. just by day two shes swimming normally. im gonna continue until day 5 THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU SAVED MY BABY❤
I was just thinking to myself like why does every frog RU-vidr have macrame in the background as I look up to see a macrame curtain on my closet the change is happening😭😭😭
this would be a pleasant sound if there weren't a good dozen+ of them making this sound directly beside my window for 18 hours a day, 3-6 weeks a year :(
Your Chuckwalla Jada is really Adorable, I have a Female that looks and acts almost Like Jada, her name is Peanut and Ive had her for almost 9 Years now, Caught her when she was just a new born a couple weeks old. I have videos of her when she was so very, very tiny here on my site. She always wanted out when she saw me and would jump to my hand.. ;-) She has gotten pretty big now and is a very healthy Chuckwalla... ;-) Really enjoyed viewing Jada ;-)
I am getting a white tree frog soon. I have a 20 gallon tank set up with everything from heating lamps to fresh moss and automatic mist-ers. I however am not thrilled about the crickets as they are loud. If i fed my frog calcium/frog vitamins and meal worms (or other quiet bugs) would she get the nutrients she needs? Or do i definitely need to feed her crickets?
