😛welcome to Florida! So glad ur here and can experience our native herps. I started hunting frogs 10 yrs ago and still never get tired of it. I have about 10-12 different species of frogs & toads in my yard alone. I fret the day I ever have to move from Florida. I’m nw Florida btw, we haven’t bn invaded by the Cuban tree frogs yet thankfully, but we do have the invasive brown anoles from down there. They have decreased our green anole population already.
so plants struggle and herps thriving in climate anything get too humid? ) I just had high humidity days and my aus green treefrog was a bit off - most of the summer I've had ideal tank conditions and I'm off to look at heating as this is a freak year here (was wild ex pet rescue) wishing you best and good to see new content id like to see some more simple homecare symptom/Id treatment vids - like constipation also what deep clean substrate weekly vs replace all substrate every 2 years I often use your prolapse vid - one day I found dozens of posts with people recommending to kill frogs with it and your vid probably saved a few - i used to treat sheep like this on-farm with sugar and water in lambing season - froggy first aid not to replace vets
Hello! In the wild they call when it rains from about April to July. However, in captivity these conditions are not as easily created to they may not call or only for a short time when winter ends!
