Tie fighter is 100% clapped by the raptor But the interceptor? Lets review it shall we? Tie interceptors max speed is roughly 1,250 kph in atmosphere, putting it at a max speed of mach 1.01 The f22 can go around mach 2, but lets take into consideration the tie interceptor has an insane thrust to weight ratio (it puts 4,240 Gs on the pilot who can only survive because of some sci-fi BS inertia dampeners), and unless the raptor tries doing hit and run strategys it that much of a difference in speed wont matter There are ships in SW capable of going fully invisible, but they can still be detected because of the energy coursing through them, so the F22s stealth components wont make a ficking difference As we see in starwars squadrons, (specifically the cinematic but the game as a whole too) these things can fucking turn, and i mean, tighter than any known missile, like tight enough to fly through a city if needed, And whilst with modern jet aircraft a turn radius as tight as that would be a death sentence because you wouldn't have time to regain speed The tie interceptor (as stated earlier) has an INSANE thrust to weight ratio Ontop of that the interceptor (and presumably other ties) can detect missiles the second they launch, and they have countermeasures like chaff, and another more sci-fi countermeasure that lets the starfighter override the missile chasing it and send it back to whatever fired it (pretty fucking op if you ask me) Then theres the missiles, starwars missiles are notoriously good for not losing their lock on even the A-Wing which is better than the tie interceptor, so the raptor better hope it doesn't get locked on, or else the concussion missiles gonna hurt like a bitch Not to mention, kinetic energy weapons in Star wars arent really common, even they have a plasma coating on the round because bullets, just arent as effective as blaster bolts in Star wars, meaning most if not all starfighters are bulletproof as everything seems to be made of the highly durable alloy durasteel, compared to the materials used in the 22s airframe Then theres the 6 blasters the interceptors got, even though the projectile is slower than a normal bullet, theyre really damn accurate, compared to the spray and pray nature of the Vulcan 20mm Now you may think the f22 has the detection range advantage, of (according to google) 200-240km.....the tie interceptors works in space, its an interplanetary Spaceship, so its sensors will have VAST range especially given the size of Star wars ships Final point, the Tie interceptors smaller than the 22, being shorter and narrower, but taller So if you ask me, the empires interceptor would wipe the floor with the F22
the f22 doesnt need to dogfight tbh its just gonna launch aim120s from 100km away and even if the tie fighter gets into gun range there is still the aim 9x which is a high off boresight missile that can pull 60gs meaning the pilot with his hmd can target and fire the missile without the plane's nose on the target essentially doing a 180 turn to kill anything that is in a rate fight or that isnt jamming the f22's wez or going head on or the enemy isnt flaring or got separation
