Welcome to the Ambassador pools family! We're going to take you through how to run your pool, some simple tips and tricks that make pool ownership easier, and give you an inside peak to the daily work life of our people, enjoy.
Expensive, hot to the foot in sun, sounds like you're walking on a tin can, and I have a two inch gap on my deck that Kayak and installers never fixed, so to me money to junk. I wish I had kept my Sears above ground and built a deck around it. Also the rails are not high enough to meet barrier requirements where deck is level with yard. End 2c.
@@bkealey1980 In this pool generally ph levels will follow in the wake of correct chlorine levels, personally after owning one for a while now and dealing with water chemistry i think the ph is a waste of time. If your water is clean and clear, enjoy it.
Skimmer basket keeps filling up and drains! Over & over non stop.. and causing noises, and the return into the pool to shoot bubbles & force pressure.? Can you help me??
Question: on the Frog Cycler, I keep getting a persistent drip, even though the O-ring is in place, it’s threaded correctly, and maintained properly. Got any suggestions for stopping the drip before freezing weather comes along?
Frogger has to be taken off for the winter, but if it’s from the lid a new lid might do it and if it’s a fitting then it might be worth replacing the fitting.
Hello again Daniel. Had a great first summer with the pool! I am ready to begin closing and do not see a video for salt water closing. Wondering if there is any difference. Do I add the same winterize chemicals as I would for chlorine? Do I do anything to the salt water generator? Should I take in the digital nano? Lastly, I have a deep end…do I need to pour anti freeze into the line that runs under water or will that run back into the pool? Thank you for any guidance with these questions and thanks again for a great pool!
no difference for winterizing, no anti freeze and i would take every part off for the winter including the computer although on mine ive got it mounted on a post so i just put a big garbage bag over the top of it and tie it up for the winter.
The skimmer has air in it when it runs (it's not completely full of water). We cleaned the skimmer filter, which wasn't very dirty. Also the pressure gauge on the pump was hovering between 6-10, but sometimes drops below 5 before coming back up. After cleaning skimmer filter and turning pump on to check if it helped, the skimmer still had air and the pressure gauge was at 5. When running the pump it sounds like a loud washing machine. The pool was filled with water to the level recommended by the installer - halfway up the skimmer box in the pool - but it makes us think the water's too low? Thank you in advance.
sounds like your water level is too low, it helps sometimes to take the skimmer door flapper out of the pool because sometimes it causes more issues than it solves, i threw mine away years ago, your water should be 3/4 of the way up the skimmer. try running the pool from the bottom drains only and if its is working properly than youve isolated the problem and air is probably getting in through the skimmer.
Hello. Ambassador installed our pool recently. The pool pilot says purify 50%. Shouldn't it go up to 100%? The pump has been running on a timer everyday for a week. Thanks.
I’ve actually been doing all of this since I got it. I’m glad I’m not the only one. My only issue I’ve had is when I sweep out my pool, it’ll shoot some of the dead algae back into the pool. I’ve cleaned the filter before I sweep and always clean it after. Is there anything I can do to stop that from happening?
Hello. Thanks for the videos they have been very helpful! Ambassador just installed our kayak pool! We love it. I have a question. I didn’t have the 8 bags I needed (I had bought 8 but used 2 in my softener while we waited for delivery 🤦♂️). I only put 6 in when the generator called for 8. I grabbed 2 more the next day but the machine is not saying add salt. It says purify is at 50%. What do I want purify to be at? Should I add the last two bags? Thank you in advance.
It should have given you the amount to put in when you first ran the system, sounds like its enough if its not asking for more, keep an eye on the water and if its clean and clear your golden, i would leave it right where its at.
Nice video, thanks! Very helpful and clear explanations for everything, making new pool ownership seem much less daunting. Pretty impressive that you got it all in one shot as well!
Hands down EXACTLY what i was looking for. What to get, what is about the best, what works and how it works. Thanks Daniel for a superb video that guides me in how to set and mount up something that is completely new to me for my first pool go around.
