Exploring Retail stores, fast food restaurants, motels, houses, service stations, anything abandoned to preserve our history just leaving my foot prints, taking video showing guys what I come across
Nice find. Play areas in Burger King are a rarity these days. Too many lawsuits and the employees don't have time to clean up unwanted "bio incidents".
Place was great when I worked there about 5-6 years ago. Sad to know later management let get so bad. We used to strive for customer service but it was the only one in Jackson. I worked at IHOP too
No death in the family and the majority of Gas now shop stores where sold to Casey's the remaining where rebranded as Git n Split. That particular location was closed during the sale and wasnt a great location since you can only enter and exit if traveling East on Cornhusker St.
Info from an old postcard on Flickr: this place used to be called the Stagecoach Motor Hotel. It had a restaurant, cocktail lounge, beauty salon, convention facility, dancing and banquet rooms. The owners were Mr and Mrs Dan Swift. The middle building had a balcony around the perimeter. There were a couple of trees in the parking lot and a lawn in front of the hotel. Street View images from 2007 show it operating as the Lamar Inn.
@@davestrang8585this building is late 1800s left to rot that Grocery Market I bet is just as old image back in the going in one of them old grocery stores
Early 1900s Based on the architecture, which my old elementary school that was built-in 1910, but it's now been torn down and it's now a topless bar.@Abandoned1673
Too bad you weren't in ohio in Brunswick theres a block of 5 gutted and abandoned houses which are soon going to be demolished for a new Culver's restaurant
Just looking at all of the western things inside this museum makes you feel like you were in the old west .the building itself was done justice at having another chance in life at being used instead of sitting abandoned or something, nice job and love the video !🤘
@Abandoned1673 looks like an old Gulf gas station possibly? Me and my brother like old gas stations and we would get this book that had pictures and history on certain ones from the library. I'm personally a huge fan of old Texacos, Sunocos and 76s from the 50s thru 80s.
The only time I craved Oreos and Pringles was when I worked at Philmont in Cimarron NM. My hours made it impossible to get to the tiny market in town, even if they weren't sold out. Weekend cravings runs: thank you Trinidad CO!!!! ❤
Moved to this area 6 years ago and the first thing I noticed was all the abandoned buildings. From Walsenburg down to Raton N.M. Its such a shame the cities allow this.
There is no need to throw trash on the ground at a abandoned place and there is no need to smear ugly graffiti all over the building.either put your trash where it belongs in the trash can and get yourself one of those painters palette to paint on when you feel the need to paint cause this is very ridicules and stupid to do this to a place that is abandoned.
