Almost as cringy as Young talent time which my cousin Tim was on. My parent forced me to go to a YTT show because of Tim being a member. Can you imagine how terrible this wouldn’t sounded if Jonny was actually singing live😱 instead this poor audience got bad lips sinking. This reminds me of movies that compel you to watch them because of how bad they are😂
Extraordinary clip. Plenty of band members miming the backing vocals, including the lead singer who doesn’t mime the lead until the end when he mimes “We gotta gotta go!” Like I said extraordinary!
the giggle is that this show was recorded live on a Saturday morning, firing up with shampoo, costumes, and stage directions, when every muso worth his salt would still be in bed, after a Friday night. Such was the price for musical aspirations in the 60's. Given the loaded dice against achievement, we have atmospheric success, and a laugh when Mal McGee turns too early......
