repurpose everything and make a skate park a long with other things. This would allow you to leave many things, scrap some dangerous things, and repurpose some other. And you could likely get many volunteers in scenarios. one like if you told the community we want to put a recreational skate, bmx, ect ect park here I am sure you could get something going.,
I lived 10 years in Angola & it's hard to not cry watching the video, the nostalgia i feel for the people, the ambience, they are welcoming and non judgemental, they would say to me "oh you are Angolan already", if you learn to speak any languages there they really appreciate feeling appreciated, acknowledged. It's so hot on those road trips, but the destinations are a magical experience. On the odd occasion i was eating some fish. I since went vegan. As for the circumcisions, if it is to avoid infections living in an area scarce of water to wash, that is one thing. If it is for the right of passage... Then really? What are the short and long term effects on each individual from this practice? We see FGM as horrific and life threatening, it has devastating effects... Friends who were circumcised as babies don't remember and don't have an issue with it, one friend still feels the trauma as he was snipped at age 4. Who sat down and thought of this idea as a right of passage, it's just mind boggling And who thought of FGM which serves zero medical purpose 😭 Not so traditions are great I so hope those boys heal well mentally and physically.
