About the Channel The Chartreuse Leprechaun is about games and fun. We play games BLIND--meaning we have no idea what we are doing.
The Schedule Friday series is a game released in the last 12 months. Saturday series is a game released 12-36 months ago. Monday series is a game released more than 3 years ago. Tuesdays and Thursdays are shorts i call Leprechaun stories. Around the middle every month, I do a channel update video. A Leprechaun Story Collection posts the Sunday after the update video.
About the Leprechaun The Chartreuse Leprechaun started as a joke with my children many years ago. I just decided to share it with everyone else.
About Me. My name is Mark. Among other things, I am a stroke survivor, and disabled. As part of my brain therapy, a neurologist suggested gaming. Eventually, I decided to learn RU-vid, and all that goes with it. It's a struggle. But, it's a lot of fun. So...Welcome! Enjoy this journey!
Yeah. I think I did. Also, I've looked at the stats once or twice, and it shows wolves having died...but we never saw it. So, maybe they bleed out after running away? Interesting mechanic, if true.
Rather a pause in conntent, instead of you turning into a zombie from infection. Hope you get well soon and reach a nice phase aof thing going to plan... right to the point where you think everything is good and then, we all know who shows up then ^^
Muahahahaha, now here it burns again on it's own... like a leprechaun with napalm alone. Not sure if you played Rimworld if you have, integrate a firefoam poper into the pc case so if it goes off again it won't spread. Stay healthy.
Really? No. i had no idea. Never occurred to me. The fun of playing blind. So busy exploring, you forget to try things. It's given you have to boil it first, though, right?
@@UKGeezer lol. Wow...so many ways that could go bad. But, it is a game, and they warn you about about stuff not matching reality. Sooo...consume with delight...I guess? (lol)
And then he finds out the O drive now contrains the Windows Boot Manager and once it's out it no longer boots :D Happened to me.... removed the last sub 1TB HDD... what is happening? Took me two hours to figure that out^^
wow...how would it end up on ... OH! I see where you're coming from. I should have been more clear. The files still on the O drive were the launch and operation files for the external drive. Remember? I said it was old. Yes. It's THAT old. Like at least 10 years. And, it came with launch and install software. Also. Spoiler for next week. The dumpster fire is continuing. Details Tuesday. So much for the monthly update video... (lol) (smh)
God help us. The Leprechaun isn't. Which means...yes, there will be a part 5. This is really nuts. Anyway, gameplay tips and suggestions, please and thank you. Prayers for all these, also please and thank you.

Funny thing. I've got nearly 3000 hours in FO4. And, I've really never done much with console commands. I can easily load up me and the dog with enough miscellaneous stuff to generate all the caps/tickets I'll ever need. In the early game, that is. By mid-game, there is no shortage of caps.
@@TheChartreuseLeprechaun regular Fallout, I don't need caps, either. I love raw dogging FO4. But, London mod, you will quickly find, is not exactly giving with the tickets.

Quite an adventure this time! TIP: Don't forget that Churchill can play pack-mule! He can carry a surprising amount of stuff. Just be careful on maxing him out. If you get to the point where he can't take a half-kilo or so, take a piece back. Otherwise he can't fast travel and lags behind.
Happy to be back, enjoying your playthrough again after taking a week's vacation. Looks like you're making pretty good progress here! TIP: That scrap metal seems relatively scarce and can be used for arrowheads, fishing gear, and repairs. Good to harvest and store somewhere you can get back to. TIP: Good idea to map when the game offers you a named location. Also, the map can show white icons of good stuff that might be hiding from you otherwise. You've plenty of charcoal; make mapping a habit. TIP: Use your spray paint to mark your storage buildings and leave arrows/signs aiming to them. That way there's no confusion about what cabin has your stash and where it is. Could be REALLY handy if you need to duck into one with wolves on your tail, and you don't want to pick an empty one
Welcome back! Took a 4 day break myself. And...UGH...mapping...the bane of my existence. Now, i actually tried fishing gear while trying to tweak my controller after episode 6 but couldn't get it to work. I should probably try again. Never have tried the paint. But, with my loot whore ways and weight allowance problems...not sure I ever will.
@@TheChartreuseLeprechaun Carry capacity is this wuff's nemesis too! You could always grab a can from your storage hut and use it to paint the door and the nearest intersection on the main road/path, if you didn't want to carry the can with you. Just dump it back in storage when the marks are done.
16:20 - i noticed that you dont have UI button prompts for some actions (like here when going through clothes it should show you button prompts for drop, repair or wear actions on the bottom right, and for other menus too) , i had the same problem with my gamepad controller - for some actions it shows buttons fine but others it just wont show anything. Like when you were selecting the regions in ep1 there should have been a button for "random region" but it didnt show up. With mouse and keyboard it usually shows them properly, so if you want you can try it if only to check whether you missed some possible actions or not.
Interesting. Good stuff to know about. That you! I've had several such problems with the controller. Like picking up the bedroll, which the game doesn't show you how except with the keyboard and mouse.
46:54 - your dog is in trouble message. Probably you supposed to command the dog to stay somewhere far from explosion. And there's a way to heal the dog. Keep it up good content 👍
Yeah. I saw that in post production. Hashtag not happy. Got to get used to the display in this game. Been playing so many others since I last played Fallout... ugh...
Torches and stones are good for scaring wolves away. Just drop a lit torch, or a flare, between you and the wolf and aim a stone, or any weapon, at the wolf and they go a running. Don't think it works with bears though 😥Torches are also great for starting fires if you don't have a fire starter because you can light the torch with a single match and then use the torch to start the fire. If the fire fails, the same torch can be used to light it again.
A couple other folks mentioned the fires and torches thing. And, like total noobie, I keep forgetting. Thank you for another reminder. Did not know about how they work with wolves. Definitely thanks fir that!!
These "memorials" 31:15 are probably a notes of appreciation for a people (backers) who donated money for the game development. To make it integral part of setting developers made them in form of makeshift memorials (they would add them anyway as part of making realistic scenario where player meet signs of some people who didn't survive) and let backers write their own text as an act of small participation in creating the game for their donations. They do not serve any purpose other than being decorative elements to perpetuate backers' donations. Think of this as part of credits in the middle of the game.
@@TheChartreuseLeprechaun To encourage players a little 🙂 A quote from Wikipedia: A post-credits scene (also known as a stinger, end tag, or credit cookie) is a short teaser clip that appears after the closing credits have rolled and sometimes after a production logo of a film, TV series, or video game has run. It is usually included to reward the audience for having the patience to watch through the credits sequence. - Think of the achievement as a post-credits scene to reward the players for having the patience to find all the credits to the backers who helped funding the game.
Prioritize eating cooked food when you indoor because warm food has healing effect. Save ready to consume nonecookable types of food for outdoors because you cannot cook there anyway.
Good content 👍 looks like 36:03 - missed fishing skill learning book and at 36:04 survival learning book. And probably warm boots between cupboard and table at 16:36
Ugh! All the things I've missed finding in this game. I see some of them in post-production, and just smack myself because they are so obvious. Thanks for reminding me to pay more attention.

I hope everytime you start working on the project you blair Whitesnakes Here I go again!^^ Btw your Microcenter may have good eyes but the thing about you are screwed is BS^^ At work we use Kontakt WL and Kontakt LR to clean and flush out stuff. You can even use destiled water to clean since pure water is not conductive but well I would prefear something that evaporates. Allways run windows without microsoft account there is just to much swamp hoging background computational power. Glad you chaced that littel green critter down. Take care.
I've seen videos using 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, too. Lots of ways to make it happen. And, we have plenty of time now that things are working. I think a vacation is in order. 😇
