Does anyone know how significant of difference this bike runs at elevation changes? If I roadtrip from oklahoma to colorado and hit a few trails and mountain passes, will it just have decreased power but will still run? I just don't want to re jet for a short week trip.
I did have to rejet going up Cinnamon Pass, the 50 main jet was good in my DR up to about 11K ft elevation. I went from a 50 to 45 main jet. I kept the 45 jet in for the remainder of the trip and had no issues, even going up Pikes Peak.
Look who is back. Thought youd be overseas by now? Good video. The versatile tire iron is pretty nifty. The short axle wrenches could use a little cheater bar, I'd think. what say you?
Hey Steve.. Your assumption is right. I am no longer in Las Vegas. This is an older video I wanted to post. Have a few more before I get current. Hope your well.
ZSHARK!!! No FRICKEN WAY!!! Welcome back brother, I’ve been wondering where you have been. Fantastic interview very well done great questions and information. I’m guessing you’re on the road south? Give it hell and enjoy the ride of life. -VW915
Thank you for the warm welcome back VW915 !!!! Unfortunately this is an older video i wanted to upload. I am getting more active in doing some edits now that i have more time. Hope your doing well.. Ride on !!!
Hi there, I plan on doing this in September. Could you possibly tell me the exact location of that campsite that you had just outside Mexican hat please?
Awesome.. so there is only one gas station in Mexican hat Arizona. And it is exactly 15 miles from that gas station Into Valley of the God's. Sorry I don't have a pin for you.. hope it helps. But rest assured. There is many epic spots to camp there.
@DRZADVENTURER Yes on BDR route. Going south to North. As soon as you cross into Arizona there is a Exxon station.. get gas and reset tripometer. 15 miles to a million dollar camp spot for free. Enjoy.
I've been following along trying to place where you are. You are actually in the Abajo Mountains on the Manti-La Sal National Forest, not the La Sal Mountains.
nice vid.the quality of this chair is excellent.heavy duty,i received mine recently and while patiently waiting for spring in pennsylvania set up in the livingroom-and fell to sleep for 3 hours waking comfortably.with me at 250lbs it easily passed the 1st test.set at a good height compatible with most backpack tables and comfortable to lean back or sit foward it is also easy to get in and out of.roll a hoodie in the carry bag and it is the perfect pillow under the velcro strap on top with it hitting the neck comfortably.yep it is a buck and a quarter but i would buy it again tomorrow.enjoy the ride!
Good video, the road tolls in Sonora are been talked by people, and they ask for the money of the toll, authorities do nothing about it … but don’t worry, when I went to Baja, I didn’t pay either… for motorcycles is free, jejeje,
Was curious about your comments regarding this chair, as i have had one for about a year ago now. And your comments are right on. Yes a bit pricey but quality built. And comfortable. I do have the Helinox one chair as well and sometimes you just wanna sit back and relax. Recommended for Gs riders as the weight and size is negligible.
You can look at some of my videos.. i rode that bike to Alaska in 2017.. i dont recommend the fairing thou.. added a lot of weight to the front end..imo
Thanks! I rode to Alaska and Tuktoyaktuk 4 times. The last time it rained every day. I need more rain/weather protection, maybe a taller windscreen would work. Still looking.
hello!!! All these machines are beautiful. I have a KDX Kawasaki 200. I would like to see a drawing of how the oil tank goes to the pump and carburetor. I mean the route of the connections
This is real adventure! I think we have all been in similar situations, but you were brave enough to film, narrate, and put your questionable decisions on public display. My hat is off to you, sir!
I had a couple of KDX200 and then swapped to a 220 with FMF pipe and silencer and renthal fa tears and mounts and absolutely loved that bike, the best KDX I’d had
I wish i had a good answer for that. But maunly my laptop is old and oveerheats when i try to edit vids. Waiting for the M2 Macbook 14inch. hopefully it comes out in a few months. thanks for watching.
@@ZSharkPH I Have a 1973 TS185 with the factory hop up kit in storage to finish this year and also in storage is a 1972 TC90 dual range transmission to finish, then I will sell them. I'm just digging into a 95% original Suzuki TM250 MX bike. I bought one like it new in 1975. It was my first true race bike. I just hope to get it running and straighten out a few things. TS125 were the hot bike back then.
This is how I fixed. In my case of ( I can't start my generator) it's has been two years since last time was running. I started by checking oil level, gasoline more than 1\4 tank in my RV, sparkplug checked for good spark, also cleaned the carburetor and even installed new one but same situation, check wires and found some has been damaged by rats so I replaced them, by this time it started but stay runing only by keep pushing the switch on all time, so I knew it was electrical problem from the engine itself, so I took the generator out from my RV to work in my garage. I disassemble the unit by removing the cover, then the cooling fan until I was at the engine brushes area and this is what I found: one more wire chewed by rats plus the stinky nest in the middle of the generator motor coil, I fixed the wire and sanded the cooper contacts where the brushes are sitting becouse they were real duty with old urine from the rats. I assembled everything back together and bingo it's runing like a champion, for this project materials involved was about $60.00 including an aftermarket new carburetor and an harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller to pull the aluminum fan out. Just keep in mind that (Eny engine run smooth if gasoline and DC current aren't interrupted) Also if you have a onan microlite 4000 like mine, don't run it for more than a minute without the cover becouse you'll cook the engine real fast, also keep the eye on the aluminium fan and your fingers after cranking it in case you missing one, just kidding!!! If this can help eaven one person it'll make me more happy, thanks for reading!!!
Crazy to see how few people speak English in San Luis comparing to Tijuana where anywhere you go you will find an English speaker for sure. I did that road not long ago on car taking my family on vacation and man gets really hot there God man you are brave , the more I see the video … your Spanish is really limited and sad to see Mexicans not knowing basic English , I went to school there they do teach it, I guess you found the worst students! Lol 😂
your not priming it read the manual. push the switch to stop/prime for 5 or 10 seconds you hear the fuel pump at the generator .Than push start switch. On my Rv you can do this on the generator or on dash switch or at the control panel.
Bike sounds good! I have an RMX250 which is similar and I absolutely love the thing. I prefer it most times over my 2006 RM250. Would love to ride a KDX200
