my female is on raw feed since she was kitten .. but now she is pregnant so one of my friend said that it is not good for her as it is harmful . she is on raw diet since she was 3 months and she does not have any kind of issue . please help me any raw feeder with pregnant cats
If this is so then why 2 recalls just recently? How often is this testing and cleaning being done? I wish you would come out with a video addressing recalls considering your losing customers
Wow that's a company id work for excellent standards . On place I worked sensient flavours didn't give one 💩 about safety or hygiene refused to use blue tisue paper as it cost more than white tissue but the problem is it was in a white food powder room So go figure why I left after highlighting issues even one bloke lost 3 fingers how that place gets away with it even the emulsion room had rotten dead flies in there and the flavors they made goes in to every thing
Something is definitely different. My cats have let me know by snubbing their meals recently. I think im done handing over my power, and am going to make my own raw food. Convenience has proven over and over to not be our friend.
Are you using guides, YT videos or an expert to formulate a recipe for you? Looking to do the same. For my cat, I’ve switched her to rabbit from Blue Ridge in NC and adding supplements meant for raw feeding. She loves it. I support vivaraw, but even when I thaw it out in the fridge at 36f, it smells off. Back when I first switched my pets to vivaraw, turkey & rabbit smelled “sweet” like fresh meat. Not sure what changed, but I have noticed it too. Even with all the testing, raw meat contamination must be really hard to control.
@@di_kid00Jess Caticles (spelling?) here on RU-vid has been a great guide for me from the beginning. I found her about two years ago (give or take) and she's the one who introduced me to Viva. But now, she has put so much time and research into making homemade raw for cats and has formulated her own recipes to buy. I think I'm definitely going to go that route very soon (as well as doing my own research.) I certainly support Viva as well, and while I have a hunch that these recalls are being orchestrated by the dark because natural reduces vet visits and they don't want us or our family healed (a patient cured is a customer lost) but, I also can't ignore the fact that my cats aren't interested in their food like usual. It became apparent around the time that Viva started allowing antibiotics so I'm thinking that's it? I definitely agree with you about the smell being different; I use turkey, chicken, and duck. The beef turned my stomach when I opened it, and I decided not to use it anymore because it's not something a cat would hunt in the wild. I tried the rabbit but, I think the smell was too pungent for my cats because they were not interested in it at all. All I know is that this world is changing and that we are going back to our origins; re-learning to become self sufficient and not relying on others to take care of us. Our fur babies are no exception to this. I do not trust the FDA as they allow chemicals in our foods that are banned in other countries. Viva is growing very fast and raw is natural to our felines, so I feel the FDA is trying to instill fear into the public and shut Viva down. So the best way to bypass all of this is to take matters into our own hands. For those fearful of listeria, colloidal silver will kill it. It's expensive so I learned to brew my own for pennies on the dollar. Knowledge is our power so don't be afraid to take your power back! Godspeed 💫✨
Ok I get that, BUT they recalled them... it's not like they said nothing and you and your pet got sick. And they apologized and told us the LOT # that was recalled, they are the most honest and reliable Raw pet food company I've bought from
@@RAE._.666 your opinion and your choice to feed, but I'm not risking my dog's health. And sorry don't bring your pet back if they die from listeria or whatever it is.
It’s raw meat. Bacteria grows on it the moment the animal is butchered. High temperature cooking kills these bacteria AND all the nutrients and vitamins. (That’s why processed pet foods have artificial supplements added to it.) And farmers have stated discarded animal carcasses that’s been rotting in the sun are used by big brand companies. Bc all the nasty bacteria are nuked by super high temps, they get away with it. Feed your dog high grade meat? Or highly processed kibble made with feed grade meat? I’d rather cultivate a strong gut health for my dog, the basis of solid immune health by feeding raw. There are other options like lightly cooking Vivaraw (beware of bone bits on certain meats), or choosing a cooked dog food brand that use human grade meat too.
Rare but with dilligence comes good practice.. Also feels rare lol.. haven't met anyone not cutting corners tbh.. bene in kitchens 10years and some of the.. contaminations that don't get acknowledged are mad to me.. but hey.. " Act your wage" I'm often told.. grr.. 😮💨🙄
They have to or they'll poison people, and collective action lawsuits are way more expensive than to hire someone to oversee that the cleaning is done and multiple people to clean. I know about people in that industry. It appears to change by zone but overseeing the processes go right pays surprisingly well. Again, cheaper than a class action lawsuit and losing value in the eyes of shareholders.
It's done to human foods too. Pets fooss are worse. Try warming up your pet food in the microwave even for 10 seconds.. if you hear some zzz ⚡️ sparks.. there's some metals in it.
My gosh! This makes so much sense..my 10 year old dog has been so picky lately and won't eat out of his dog dish and instead wants me to hand feed him or put it in the ground/ mat. Thank you! 🙏😮
And brains have a way of normalizing sensation. Every hair on on all of our bodies have nerve endings for sensory information- cats, dogs, horses, humans, etc.. We dont react everytime a breeze moves peach fuzz hairs. Unless your cat has neurologic issues, a normal cat isnt going to be bothered by their whiskers touching something. Its about like saying we shouldnt wear hats in cold weather cause we can feel the hat- first few times the brain will recognize a new feeling, after a few times the brain is used to the stimulation.
Chill dude!! 😂 Someone people like you aren't so sensitive, doesn't mean everyone is. Like how some people are soo ticklish but others aren't at all anywhere-no tickle nerve. So it is like every cats & dogs.. is different. it's just a general consideration for them. That's all. I switched flat plate to give my cats food & they liked it more than the deep pan.
i do Hybrid, Wet can and raw (usually Frozen Beef and thawed immediately). But my cat transitioned right away.. But I do notice my cat get hungrier faster with raw food vs wetfood
We recently aquired a new cat. Or more accurately, she aquired us. She’s all moved into my garage. The thing is, I raw feed my dogs and I feel bad giving her commercial cat food but she loves it and refuses to eat anything raw I put in front of her. She’s not picky about commercial cat food though, she’ll eat wet, dry, moist and any brand I buy works for her too, she just refuses to eat real food. I’m going to try cooking it, but I’m vegetarian and don’t feel comfortable cooking meat. Even raw feeding meat to my dogs is uncomfortable for me but I can deal with it.
It can take some patience but it already sounds like you're doing a lot for her :) just doing whatever you can makes a difference! Have you tried taking a bit of the wet food she eats and mixing tiny bits of raw into it?
Sometimes quicks vary throughout the paw. The only way to tell with black nails is by looking underneath the nail for the quick. If you cant see it from underneath, you'll have to trim the nails little by little until you see a small dot (the quick). If your dog tolerates grinding it is way more safe to find the quick with it than the trimming. Please be safe when attempting any nail trimming at home, if you do end up cutting too low by mistake use cornstarch or flour to clott the wound.
this is a great question! It depends on how you're sourcing your raw food & the food safety practices of the manufacturer. For example, we require all of our beef suppliers to test their products for E. coli & also test our batches of food for E. coli after manufacturing & prior to releasing the food to ship! If you have any additional questions about our food safety procedures, please don't hesitate to email at info@vivarawpets.com
