I do not understand the language of my ancestors but as the years go by it draws me more and more to my spiritual homeland, before I depart this life I shall visit Ireland. An Australian descended from the houses of Mahoney, Finn, D’Altera and Allen
Add me to the list of listeners who are now crying their eyes out. Crusty 65 year old guy, and I'm gutted. I'm a singer, so I know good singing when I hear it. This is as fine as singing gets. Thank you! I'm a Yank, but I'm a child of the Otter clan; my people were from Clare. I've played the music - two and three nights a week in Southern California because we have strong representation here. And I've made my pilgrimage and stood in a cemetery filled with stones bearing my family name. It was on a hill overlooking the coast. As I stood there looking West over the ocean, I think I finally understood why I had to move from Philadelphia to the west coast: it would have been what my ancestors did. Thank you for this divine music!
Two profoundly excellent women singers, both realized; the artisan instrumentalist, this is profound and beautiful... Even as Qeklevtha, the Saint of Anu (or Demeter) who composed this song, in an extremely early Age, even before the last Golden Age, or Satya Yuga; now a goddess, similar to Caxsandraah, known as Cleena in Celtic...
* Liebe *
Why is my brain trying to make me think this is Yiddish? I know it's Gaelic, which usually doesn't sound like it is but for some reason this song does...😂
We are Scottish Irish and currently studying both Gaelic languages to honour our dual heritage 🌹☘️ We love this song .. and we subscribed.. ☘️ Ardently we hope your grand group keeps singing these beautiful songs forever!! Slan mo charaid William and Jen 💜💙🌱🌹☘️
