So regardless of a safari snorkel I’m in a heavy rainstorm right now in Tennessee with the head yes most water comes out but some still makes it into the bottom of my air box as right now it’s actually in the garage with the air box open but when you slow down water still makes it in but ether way it’s still to much water for me in my air box 😂
this is by far the most underrated little offroad truck in the game! dunno if it has auto winch or not, but if it does = PERFECT SCOUT or transporter for short missions
It's a female, the dog's name is Ruby. It's amazing that animals know when you're playing, incredible intelligence. She's still so cute with her little excited bark!
I promise you she is the least aggressive dog ever. They have one "rough" play session a day which ends in a bear hug 😂 She's the sweetest most gentlest dog ever ❤
@@lnrascoe1 I'm glad to hear that. However when a dog growls that is a warning sign. Keep your dog happy by not poking at him, and everything will be just fine
I picked up a 2023 Everglades and was curious about the snorkel and car washes primarily. I flipped the mesh plate to the back but the solid plate doesn’t fit flush on the front. Also I noticed a hole drilled in the snorkel on the bottom side a little above hood level. I’ll be curious to see if it’s a drain hole and how it performs
Regarding that hole drilled on the bottom side of the snorkel... that is super interesting and new information to me. Would you mind posting a picture of that over in the bronco6g thread? That's at www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/everglades-snorkel-installed-on-2-7l-badlands-bronco-update-completed-water-flow-test-video.69930/ Or share it here in whatever way you might prefer, but I'm very interested to check that out. Congrats on the 2023 Everglades btw! Very cool. And yeah those plates seem to be flexed in a way that they don't sit flush when flipped, which seems kinda silly. I think with the blocking plate on the front, though, it'll block enough water for rainy weather or car wash. If/when I seal off the drainage points, then I'll be more concerned about how that plate fits.
@@pandapaul also I talked to ford and they assured me the vehicle was good to go through car washes with the plates reversed. I’ve taken it through 6 or so car washes with no issues to date
I've had almost the same exact thing happen to me in Alaska with the loadstar, I was hauling 2 scout fuel trailers to go sell and this happened to me when I was crossing "the long bridge" in white valley
Carries 12 concrete slabs across 3 zones without a hitch in a way never intended. Same day while empty, hits pebble on a turn, rolls into a stand of trees, needs 7 million litres of fuel and 4 trucks, 2 of which get bogged to recover. This game is built by sadists. It angers me endlessly and yet I cannot stop playing. It pleases me to see you snubbing your nose at their puny attempts to break you with their gooey physics. Bravo!
Contrary to live observation, right at 5:34 a decent size water droplet can be seen moving in inside tube. It actually looks like the shaping of the pipe in there facilitates another small volume of water being able to settle and not make its way to the air box. Since that drop stopped there and didn't move forward (even though the vehicle was slightly downhill), I think that may be the case. I'd like to go back in there with a flashlight and confirm.
You also have to account for the engine pulling the water toward the intake more so than gravity simply allowing it to run down the tube. I would not silicone the factory drain hole in the airbox.
@@rydfree I agree with the intake doing that pulling. If you anticipate water crossings deeper than the height of that drain hole, though, would you still skip on sealing it? I'm torn.
@@pandapaul it was my second time when overloading first time it was 6 fuel and 2 cargo conteiners on Pacific P512 PF and 4 slots trailer from mods cus no sideboards
