Not much to say except that I am a huge fan of story-driven single player games and uploading videos about them is a hobby of mine. I've been gaming ever since I was a kid in the early 2000s, so it doesn't take much to convince me that games are an artform, and in my videos I try to showcase them in the best way possible to display the hard work that the developers put into them.
You will find that I mostly upload short sequences from various games that I found memorable and show them in a cinematic, "E3 demo-like" manner. I also upload complete playthroughs of my favourite games when I have the time and commitment to do so. Mostly this revolves around the Half-Life series. Sometimes, I get creative and upload videos that I typically don't do - trailers, audio mixes, etc.
At any rate, whether you are just stopping by to check out some of my videos, or are a long time subscriber, I hope you find my content enjoyable, and have a great day :)

One thing I can say about Black Mesa: They sure keep the light bulbs working. Even in places it makes no sense to have working lights, places no human was ever meant to go or places no human has visited for decades. Guess the devs didn't want you to have to rely on the flashlight too much.

I was definitely a changed person by the time I got to the gauntlet at 12:04. I hate to admit it, but I was forced to use God mode, and we’ve got hostiles, surface tension, interloper, and nihilanth. This time, it was the a grunts. I don’t know if this has been said, but I think they move almost exactly how the Marines do, it was like the high security materials storage facility in chapter 4 all over again. And I was *_MAD_* by the time I got here. Watching what the nihilanth and the controllers have done to the vortigaunts, done to us, and all the trouble that the a grunts gave me… _Oh,_ I was changed. They had to pay for everything they did. On Earth. On Xen. So when I finally got to the gluon gun rechargers, instead of being all excited like last time, I said in a very dangerous tone “Feel. My. _Wrath.”_ Only the slaves lived to tell the tale of the vengeful hell bringer I became for them
4:29 You get some breath time. Healing yourself, charging your armor. Then finding yourself in a big room. Looking right and left, trying to analyze the place. And keep on blasting...
I love this fight so much. The music, the way the strider moves, it's near perfection in my eyes. My favorite part has to be the first calm section. You think it's over. the music is calmer. Then you hear the strider and see it smash into the door frame, taking it out as the music gets all panicky and jumpy.
I liked the entire Hospital level the most out of this entire episode. It felt almost like some missed part of "Nova Prospekt" to an extend. Between that, and a couple of moments in "Lowlife", unfortunately, Episode One is a pretty cheap/trash entry to the franchise. Considering how the last 5-6 chapters of the vanilla game all happen either at the Citadel or on the streets of C17, it just felt like we were given not only leftovers that were scrapped from the previous game, but all from the levels we literally just seen before finishing the game. That being said, I see a bright future for it once it gets an RTX overhaul, especially since the Gravity Gun is supposed to give off a bit of its light to the surrounding environment, which could be really interesting during "Lowlife".
We're at the tail-end of 2024 and the Half-Life 2 RTX project is well on it's way, and Half-Life: Alyx is over two years old now. The "Black Mesa: Blue Shift" is almost halfway done, while "Guard Duty" and "Operation: Black Mesa" are still nowhere near their premiere... Meanwhile, Ross Scott still didn't make it even half way through Ravenholm in his "Freeman's Mind 2" series as of the time of this comment.. 🤪 Almost 27 years have past since the vanilla H-L launched and the series still remains one of the most influential video games of all times with so much to look forward to! 🥳
