That is only part of the problem. Emails are still being labelled as Updates, and are listed under Category - Updates. I waste more time every day going into there and moving them back to Primary. Do you have a solution for that?
I have watched your video several times but it does not work for me. I click on Settings and go to the third tab, Inbox; all items are unchecked and saved at the center bottom of that page. Nothing happens. It still shows the Update tab that I am trying to lose. Any suggestions?
I don't want to just hide the tab, I want to make them go away permanently so I don't run out of storage space. Basically I have two copies of everything, it seems. One goes to inbox and one goes to promotions. And some that end up in promotions I actually want to keep for business purposes, but if I delete them from Promotions, they are gone-gone. But if I delete them from inbox, the second copy hangs out in promotions forever. It's a pain to go through both tabs to delete things I really don't want
thank you so much! I was missing crucial emails the last couple days. I'm not sure if Google hasn't fired all the folks harboring common sense, or what, but glad to have found this vid
I have a Pinterest business account & have posted a few pins however I don't have the option to add my website to the pin like what you show for yours so people can go to my main website. Clicking on the image will go to the product but not the main website page. Suggestion? Thank you
Thank you for this informative video! I was missing emails from work for about a month and had no idea where they kept going until now! You’re a life saver!
Got rid of updates tab a long time ago. However, all the email that used to go to that tab now goes into the ionosphere. IDK what to do! I miss many of my bills!
I did exactly this and Google is STILL sending emails I desperately need to see and be aware of to this dead-end Updates tab so that I can completely ignore important changes to projects I am working on...
Loved this one. I had my Facebook shut down and had to start over again. I need to focus on one thing, get it going and then go to the next while keeping the 1st one going
Hi Melissa! I love your personality. I'm an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay. I have numerous facial jars out around town for new leads. I am so new with understanding QR codes I think it will be a real boost to get new leads. At the moment I have sign up slips for them to sign up for a free facial. What I would like to do is place a QR Code for them to scan and get the information about the free facial and tell them to send me a text "WIN" for a free facial. I understand I can make the post with QR code but when they scan a code where does it take them? Do I need a free website, I am confused. Please help. Thank you
Great question! Ultimately a website would be a great place to send them, but with just starting out I would recommend sending them to a google form. This way you can collect all the info you want for the free facials.
I find it's best to clean slate, especially if I'm using a tracker externally, because 1) I'll probably never look at them, and 2) I know I've got more productive things to do that will drive the business forward.
I've been updating my pinterest links but after 2 to 3 links updated the next thing is getting an error message. I needed to wait for several minutes to update another link or get another error message😢. Do you know ways to fix this? The waiting game really takes ton of time just to update links. Thanks in advance!

Ive heard horror storeis of peoppe getting banned from their email accoint after KingSumo giveaways. Have you heard of this and how do you avoid it? Also, typicallt what do you expect for results from these giveaways?
I have run several giveaways using KingSumo and have had no issues. Without having the full context of these horror stories its hard to say what happened, but KingSumo covers all the bases as far as GDPR is concerned. I suspect that it is an error on the users part by not having a proper domain email (so they get flagged for spam without it). There could also be issues with exporting the emails from KingSumo to an email marketing platform and then it looks like they bought email addresses (I use sendfox which was made by the same company and integrates beautifully). They also possibly didn't make it clear that they would send emails after the giveaway and so without clear expectations and having the proper consent you are bound to run into problems including being banned. Hope that helps!
