I’ve been round and round with apple definitely a problem! I’ve had several beats.. The last pair has been working kinda of .. charging ports are a problem. They get build up on the connection and i scrape lighty with a razor blade and sometimes get the connection wet and they start working again..sometimes can be a pain because you’re in a rush to use them ..

Just started having issues with the right pod just dropping. Just really annoying. I’ve had them for over 2 years and in the last month constantly the right quits.

Maybe we all need to gather and sue apple for this garbage earphones or either fix the problem for good or get our money back

Why does my left ear sometimes not work

Ughhh, same thing, 8 go for a bud and its dead and im like dam,8 meant to charge these., than i real8zed it was the buds. I tried hundreds literally of times and they no lonnger connect to my ohone but connect rigjt to my wifes ohone. .we have the same phone. But whne she goes to use them the right is dead. I must have git about a year out if them. .Im trying to remember were 8 bought them because if it was Costco,they are going rigbt back. .i hate ti say that a $35 pair of amazon headphones work better but tbey do. . .Thats what 8 get for buying dr dre lol. .but lets blame trump,he gets blamed for everything!!!!.great video

Same issue here… all the issues too…. No support and complete denial that the product has been unreliable with inherent issues. Straight up denial, even after showing videos like this and forum searches full of people with the same issues globally!

nice review it relates on two things for me i have older apple beats pro works flawless except never been able to use microphone on them not even sure it has that feature theres your never had a problem on older set apple beats pro so i lost my older set at work 2024 purchase brand new set thinking i'll never find them on a college campus i work at the new set comes works great 3 months one bud is a pain thee ass to charge fighting it as we speak up to the time i got new set i loved apple beats pro now i'm un certain i will add my farther bought a set when i got my older set hes 80 very very techi uses his beats for riding the bike blocking mom out when she is talking to much never a issue his set just died never charged again both sets 3 years old . he also has new set of apple beats his is only 3 weeks old as fate has it i walked in old office at work under the desk was my old set half temped to start shopping for new over the ear ear buds has to be over the ear i ride bike 5 k miles a year those pop in do not last or stay in my ears like you i do not want be at mile 30 of my bike ride have music shut off prefer not to hear the bear attacking me and knowing about it laughs

I just bought these for $119 🇨🇦, regularly $250. I had to return the first purchase because the right one would charge (slower) but wouldn’t connect.🤷‍♂️ Anyway, the 2nd one is charging now. Looking forward to it.

I'm one of those idiots who has had all of the experiences you have had and every 6-8 months just buys a new pair lol. It's really pretty awful.

For Powerbeats to be made for a active lifestyle, they didnt factor that feature in for the charging dock. When I took them off after a workout, I didnt realise there was still a little bit of sweat on them, even after I wiped them. That eventually eroded one of the connections on the dock & I knew that was the problem because I just purchased a new pair & charged the old ones on the new charging dock!

Never had connection issues. Battery and charging has been terrible! Right bud now says fully charged and then dies 5 minutes after leaving the box. Put it on charge and instantly jumps back to nearly full. Thought you get what you paid for but on this occasion we really didn’t.

The problem I always get is that they will read at 100%, I will play and listen to music then 30 to 40 minutes in the left bud with stop and is out of charge. This is no coincidence that this happens since they bought beats

Smh, I see I’m not the only one….👀 I had been enjoying my beat pros for few years now. But, over the last few months I have been having the issues keeping a connection. There still in good shape and haven’t been dropped or anything like that. But, all of a sudden I will loose a connection in one ear when there is still enough battery life left. So, I’m going to try a couple of these solutions to see if I have any luck

Wow, I found my exboyfriends in a box he left behind… they were not connecting at first thennn I saw your video. I wet the contacts per your suggestion and wah Lah they connected. I didn’t even think the buds were charged then the case and buds were reading 100% percent! Thanks for your video.

I am having the same issues, mainly from throwing the case and buds into my gym bag and if it does not sit flat one bud does not charge. Tempted to return them while I can. This seems like a terrible process to start. Last year I had my Bose earbuds fail (due to my toddler using them for a whistle), still in warranty, all I had to do is chat to them on WhatsApp, send the buds back and I got a brand new pair back, no questions asked. This is the way. Will try to fill the case with stuff as these are the best buds to run lift ride and just not think of ever having them fall out. Thanks for the tips.

I just returned a pair to the store because the left bud was not charging. The second pair I got today are doing the same thing. The left bud will only charge to 61%. I went through the exact same thing you just talked about. I will return them tomorrow and not get a third pair. Thank you

I got mine as a gift. Loved them at first, but now having the same issue as everyone else. Just thankful I didn't spend my own money for them.

Have the same issues it's ridicules if it didn't they would be so good but without dependability they suck. I have the beats fit pros now and they charge and connect awesome but the wing tips break after a while what's up with this, although I glued them together you can't even replace the tips easy. by the way I glued them with Shoe Bond Glue it's like superglue.

I had the very orginal power beats they worked fine lasted me 4-5 years.. the newest ones have been a raggedy piece of shit hardly lasted me a year and a half... simply wont turn on.

On my second pair now. I love them - Think they sound great but they're horribly flaky. My first set became useless when the left one wouldn't hold a charge. The new pair have an issue that I had with the first pair too, which is when you put them in one ear won't work. Putting both back in the case resets it but it's a complete pain. Sometimes one won't charge as it's moved about a bit in the case and the connectors are not connected. I'd get another brand but frankly I've got one ear that no earbud ever stays in so I need the hanger bit. The alternatives don't sound as good either.... This is all totally shoddy from Apple but it's true to form.... Wetting the contacts is not a good idea; it can corrode it. Just use some isopropyl on a cotton bud to clean the contacts and it'll make sure there's no residual oil from your skin (ugh) stopping it charging.

I know this is an old video, but I still have the same issues you're talking about. The app also says I need to update, but every time I close the case, it says there's an error. This is most likely because one or both of the earbuds isn't perfectly placed. This is the second charging case in a year. Like you said, I can't find another headphone set that has better sound and quality...when they work! It's a shame!

Thanks for the honest review. Watching this review in 2024 & I think its still pretty valid. I've owned a pair of Powerbeats pros for the last 1.5 yrs and while I love the fit & sound quality - the charging case's reliability is a hit or miss. Its a 50-50 chance every time I hit the gym that one of them didn't connected properly hence didn't charge at all. I'm getting the Beats Fit Pro instead of the obligatory Airpods Pro because those never stay in my ears during workouts. Besides the Fit Pros are on on a reduced price (at EUR 129) so I think offer better value than the Airpods. I hope these won't be plagued with the same charging issue as the Powerbeats (fingers crossed). Wish they'd make the case smaller - I think its unnecessarily large.

I have had the exact same experience with mine. I have to monkey with the connection before i go for a run and after i go for a run. It is truly bizarre that so many people have this problem. These things are a fantastic device that is a complete nuisance

I believe that the disposability is mainly due to battery life, and to be honest… having the pods charge to 100% every time these are stored, is the unsmart main reason those batteries will degrade earlier than they could. My son warned me about many saying the batteries are the main reason for complaints. Well, I don’t get it that Apple doesn’t tackle it with the above thoughts. I’m new to the Air Pods Pro, and I’m a sucker for Apple. The worst product I got of them is a pair of the HomePod Mini’s. I used these Air Pod Pro 2’s on my most recent back and forth trip by air plane, and enjoyed these a lot. In the plane off course, but also using one ear bud in a loaned car, to get driving directions and even do phone calls. I came to think that I’d like to store the pods without these charging. Will see if I find a solution. That should extend the life time a lot imho. Transparency to me gives louder environmental sound, which should be tweakable imho. Spatial sound is good, depending on music style. Great for chill vibes, not for real listening material. Head tracked sound is good with a larger screen, not so much for iPhone. I happen to have to reset it to work properly: toggle off and on again. Conversational awareness needs some training but all of the sudden it works seamlessly. I use EQ off in Music settings, excellent sound out of the box. Can be tweaked there, but should honestly be in control centre. Fit well, but have to get used to not having them drop off by putting on / gaking off sweater and so. Vloume slider: not easy, haven’t managed to get a proper work flow for it. I just want black ines 😀

I've watched endless videos to figure out how to fix this issue and nothing works. It's so sad because I love the sound of these headphones but it's so frustrating when I work out with them. Mine will actually say both headphones are at 100% but then the left ear just drops out. For the money, I'm disappointed as well.

I have powerbeats pro since 2019, their batteries gave up on life a month ago (they last for about 20 minutes with moderate volume), so I am about to go shopping. Hearing you poopoo on them so much absolutely breaks my heart, I always found them superior in sound among all earbuds (including airpods) and they never let me down or fell out of my ears. 5 years of extensive use (we are talking about never leaving my house without them, they even have a dedicated pocket in my bag) and they still work. This says everything about powerbeats pro that anyone should know. They have been dropped, submerged, the stickers came off but they proved to be indestructible.

I know this may be late, but I am just seeing this video. You all know if the fit is the only real win for these over airpods pros, you know they sell the little rubber ear holders so airpods fit just like these?

Ive tried like a thousand earbuds / headphones during the last 10 years. Not just for training but, I love trying sound devices and tech. The Powerbeats pro are GREAT in so many aspects and still in 2024 I think are your best workout-oriented earphones: great analog noise cancelling, amazing battery, great sound (if you dont care about the extra Dre's bass)... but man, the last months have been awful with exactly the same issue. Just the right one charges. Then the right one doesnt pair.. etc etc.

I've had my Power Beats Pro ear buds for 3 months and yes one of the ear buds dropped out; sometimes the left and occasionally the right side. I returned them to Costco and bought a new pair. Now they won't sync to my I Phone and I can't even tell if they're charged! Very frustrating!

I have had the same experience . When working great, but 40% of time no good. Tried everything from RU-vidrs except taking apart and replacing battery.

The reality is that Apple knows what they are doing to these earbuds. What think about after Apple has these new software Updates for our IPHONE & they release new earbuds . Your IPHONE & EARBUDS will start acting really funny with all these silly issues that Apple will give the run around instead of replacing your earbuds!!!
