I generally buy what I want and believe the machine is impressive but it costs too much. Active marquee is a game changer 😂. Thanks for the Great review
couldnt agree more always yakking over important dialog etc completely ridiculous things they claim dont seem to understand movies are fiction played by actors lol
It's not just you. Which is how i found this video. It's just ppl without talent or interest themselves grabbing something that's talented or interesting and putting their untalented uninteresting face on it.
As a female gamer I like a lot of the barbie and brat type games. I also love Pokémon so it would be cool to see more of that on there but for me this would work well. My 10 and 5 year old would also like it.
@@show-me-retro Not nitpicking actually. I just said it showed the total amount in the video. Which was 9668.75. I assumed that was the total with how they placed everything. Can you not immediately get offended and disrespectful when someone says anything you could easily explain?
Hey man, is there another way to open stripped screws on my joycon without left handed bits? They're hard to come by where i'm from. Any suggestion will do even if it takes a while. Thanks.
There are bits called "easy outs" but I don't know if it would be any easier to find or as inexpensive. This is the only inexpensive and readily available option I'm aware of unfortunately
@@show-me-retro would it be possible if i drill the stripped screw with a small regular bit (the one that spins clockwise), and later kind of wiggle the top off of the screw? If that makes sense....
@dwiammantaasprilarivon9443 it is possible to drill the head off the stripped screw but you have to be very careful in doing so since you're removing a head vs backing it out
i m 5.7 3/4 foot and i m comfortable playing them on a chair without any riser installed...that aside i understand where youre coming from on the cheapness of these oversized but cool (for me at least) toys eheh
Reaction videos are fake and they should be avoided at all costs. And even if they are not fake, they should still be avoided at all costs because they are just retarded and stupid and pointless. The internet has become ridiculous now.
Thank you, I'm sure you're like me, the only reaction I care for is mine. Also, many channels reviewing the most popular franchises isn't original or cool anyway.
I never understood the appeal of arcade 1ups. Crappy software emulation, crappy clone controls, crappy monitors...packaged up with some artwork. I prefer playing on my MiSTer, with arcade sticks with sanwa parts, outputting to my 27" CRT, the experience is perfect.
For Beamrider, if you were still using that Genesis controller that's probably why you couldn't shoot. if not then the Coleco controller was probably having problems.
I hate every time they pause play 5 seconds and pause 5 seconds later how about not doing the video and do something more than screen time and be a good member of the community and not be a zombie for entertaining crazy people
The question is are there more affordable options outside of arcade one up and that’s the thing that people keep failing to realize, people can’t afford $1200 to 1000+ dollar arcades paying $300-$400 is a good enough and to be honest that’s still pretty pricey
❌️5:42;"Disc rot" is a bogeyman used to scare people into going all all-Digital. I have CDs from the early 90s and apart from a few light scratches from use, they work completely fine.
You nailed it. While I don't hate the idea of reaction videos the fact is if you are mugging for the camera I'm just going to keep moving on. Obvious fake reactions are obvious. I do get these people want to draw in viewers but this is the laziest way to do it. That said there are a few gems out there like the recent Eralia video watching the 1st LotR movie. Mostly quiet, a few snarky comments, and genuine weeping over the fate of Gandalf and Boromir. I find that more interesting than the clown shows.
3:39, I absolutely agree! I haven’t seen a lot of these “double reaction videos” and I do think those type of people and the reactors you showed in this video are nice people, but why are some of them reacting to a reaction video?! I apologize for my language but that’s just lazy as shit! Along with other reaction channel! And I totally believe there are absolutely great reaction channels like Doctor Mike who react to videos to tell us if the character in the video is doing the right thing. Anyway, thanks for making this video! This really made me open my eyes! 👍
Sometime between ‘97-2000 I HAVE PLAYED a Doom arcade as a kid in frickin Rome, Italy. Obviously wasn’t the one from the movie, but it was a too elaborate of a machine to be a custom built fan job. I played it during the years Lazer Tron were porting PC games to arcades, Rise of the Triad, House of the Dead and Hard Target were other games of the same kind that I have played. It’s been so long I would bet Doom II was the game I played, and in my kid mind I barely spent time on it because “I had the game at home”. The machine had an unlabeled red cabinet, gun controller (with the likeliness of a shotgun) and a big ass helmet with the visor. The front cabinet had an hidden flip keyboard for setup configuration, I asked the staff guy to set up the game for me since I don’t think it way playable by using coins. I can’t remember if the walk controller was on the gun or if the machine had a pedal too. This was a too elaborate of a thing to be some fanmade built during those years, but never know… I played it at an arcade spot, same place that had RotT and all of those other games by the way. This is as far as my memories can go back. From my perspective, Doom wasn’t a title authored to be launched as an arcade, especially since iD and GT were making hella more income by keeping it a PC only product. So I assume the cabinet was an exclusive for countries outside of the US, without making a huge buzz about it. I wished some old italian magazine had photos or documented it for us to see again.
Very interesting. I'm sure it was a custom build, maybe done as an homage to the movie. Curious to know how rhe scoring system was or how the game ended?
@@show-me-retro very advanced custom build for its time. I have mixed memories if it was Doom or Doom II that I’ve played. Second one makes the most sense since it’s continuous. Idk… I died almost immediately lol Wish I had photos, or went back to play during that week, it’s been bugging my existence not being able to find traces of that machine.
If I were you, I would go into extreme fanboy-mode and attempt to contact both the propmaster AND director of Gross Pointe Blank and ask as many questions possible they'd be able to answer about the steps taken in creating this fictional arcade cabinet of a real video game for a Hollywood movie. The real question is, "Whatever happened to the actual prop cabinet?"
Reaction videos are popular with youth because they don’t sit and engage with actual friends in person anymore. In the social media age it has replaced sitting on the couch with your buddies and laughing and talking about the movie trailer. It’s a constantly changing invisible friend who they can try and find some common ground with since they don’t spend time with real people anymore.
@lambadainc8510 those were table packs I bought feom Atgames. If you add a pc you can install lots of fan made tables. As far as what I replaced it with I haven't yet... still deciding but leaning towards the Ultra VP 7.0 or a Stern. They're both about the same price
Funny that people bitch and cry instead of something that has no effect on their life instrad of just not watching something you dont like. And btw you crying about people not wanting to work at mcdonald's with shit pay to get you your shake, the lack of self-awareness of your entitment is insane
I came across someone who supposedly has never seen Jurassic Park, which i find very hard to believe. They make a reaction video, then all of the sudden like 5 more other youtubers make a reaction called "my first time watching Jurassic Park". Like its so obvious at this point. So staged
Simple you can tell by the lyrics of Team Spirit that go:"Put a shotgun to my head. Pull the trigger and now I'm dead. Couldn't stand my stupid wife. So I had to end my life." That how you know you have a real copy.
Just use a 8bitdo Sega Genesis retro adapter or a Mega 7800 controller adapter if you're going to play on original hardware. I found a cheap rf to avi solution online to go to a retrotink too but you could have bought a HD Collectorvision Phoenix clone console too.
