The door is a good door while working. but I have this door and it is in the shut position and the hand set is jammed and does not work. I find no solution to the problem but to pull the door out so I can get to the set screws to the handle. it seems to be impossible to address this problem while the door is set in the opening?????
If you only have a single digit after the decimal/period you need to enter zeros before it to make it 3 digits total. It seems obvious now but I wish this video or anything on their site would specify that.
The balancer on two of my windows are stuck at the top of the channel on the left side. I cannot force them down, therefore i cannot open the clip on that side, nor can i slide the window to the left to remove. Any ideas will be most appreciated.
I have older - 2004/2005 Classic Series Milgard Vinyl windows and am wondering if you are able to remove them? I have watched the videos and can tilt them inward but I can"t seem to lift up on one side to disengage. Just wondering if older windows can be removed? I don't want to break them!

My alum frame window may be 16-20 years old and is different from this video. The instruction on window frame said remove the clip which I could not. The clip is also not near the top. One side of the balancer has dropped to the bottom of the window frame and the hook on it has came off while the other end of the hook hold by a thread was broken and I don't know where it should go. Anyone has an idea where the other end goes and so forth?
locks are casted metal and if the bolt section breaks it all has to be replaced. I'm trying to find out how the parts are mechanically put together since if the lock breaks it comes apart in about 5 pieces.
my Milgard screens have no tabs. And we had them installed only 2 years ago, so they're not old. PLEASE make a video for those of us who have screens with no tabs.

Thank you for the video. My husband (not very handy) and I were able to remove the rollers and clean them. It did take 2 hours. Knowing which way to turn the screws to adjust the rollers was not very intuitive but we figured out. Also the roller did not slide out in easily. But the slider door moves soooo much better.
@ min 7:32 there was advice on using a 9/32nd drill bit to pre-drill the whole. Did you mean a 9/64th drill bit? a 9/32nd drill bit would make a hole bigger than the head of the #8 screw....
My French doors installed easily and with nearly perfect gaps but as time went on the main pass door settled onto the sill. I adjusted with the center hinge to its maximum upward thrust but 2 days later it was dragging again. I measured the door from corner to corner in both directions and found the door out of square by 5/8ths of an inch. It has now passed an inch and is unusable. It's sad. I surprised my daughter with this junk. Having it installed in her new home.
There customer makes it very difficult They should just send a rep out that would be great service but they don't!! Not a very good company a total pain in the butt
