Did you sand the areas to be spray painted prior to doing it? I just acquired some extra gliders from eBay for cheap and am about to start this process.

I have two sealed Walgreens, exclusive, silver space ranger I originally bought one for my son because in space was my favorite season of Power Rangers and then I started looking up the rest of the characters and saw that the silver space ranger was kind of expensive so I went back and bought the other two that they had I have no clue on how or where to sell them It be awesome if you could give me some ideas of where or what to do if you know thanks PS they do look awesome on their gliders
This may be the only review where the right wing didn't immediately snap at the peg. I have this figure as I do love it, despite the QC issues. It's the best representation of Goldar in action figure form. Hasbro is a good second place, but Super7 just captured so many small details and included pretty much all the accessories this character need, sort of a flame effect for the sword.
I put my Super7 figures in front of a space heater for a little while before I open them. Super7 has their issues, but some of these figures are leaps and bounds beyond what has come before. The new megazord looks to be the most screen accurate affordable toy ever.
Your custom looks baller, and thanks for showing us all the different versions. I really like the Super7, but someone in my city is selling the 90's toy and there's an element of nostalgia there for sure.
It changed in season 2, the movie, and in the recent seasons. S7 is more in line with the first season. Hasbro is closer to season 2 but does a good job at blending the looks of seasons 1 and 2.
Halloween 4- I'd say that at least about 75% of Halloween fans like this movie, or even love it. Halloween 5 is a mess, but has nostalgia value, to me. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers- I hated this film when I first saw it, but I now enjoy the mask, the atmosphere, Paul Rudd's acting, the darkness of the hospital wing and the doctors, and the music.
For the most part, I love the Trilogy. I love 4....I love 5 even MORE...and 6 featured components that I enjoyed...6 was good when they kept Michael on his usual stomping grounds...stalking the neighborhood...Some have said that the idea of giving Michael some kind of motivation was a mistake, but the way these films went about that was strong enough to overcome that criticism. For instance, even though he had a specific target, he still operated in pretty much the same way. Just as in Halloween 2, when he was supposed to be after Laurie Strode-but still killed everybody in the hospital-he now pursues his niece Jamie, but kills largely as a matter of course. For example, in 4, he kills everybody in the ambulance when he makes his escape, and everybody at the diner/gas station where he stops to procure his jumpsuit....In Halloween 5, he takes stalking to the level of an art form. The barn sequence is the greatest thing of its' kind I've ever seen. And 5 is also one of the very finest moments for Loomis...he is at his most obsessive and forceful this time out...As for 6, I don't like it as well as 4 or 5, but it had some outstanding scenes and kills...I think they should have left the emphasis on the CURSE of Thorn, and perhaps just left the Cult out...the idea of someone exerting influence on Michael doesn't seem to fit his usual M.O....but the Curse, in and of itself, with the constellation, and the compulsion to wipe out his bloodline...that offered lots of possibilities... As I said, though, my overall impression of the Trilogy is very positive. 4 and 5 are among my favorite movies, from ANY genre...
Dang! Definitely strong points. I'm definitely entertained by 4,5, and 6. They just have so many story issues because each one is a reaction of the last one when they didn't have a plan for the next one. Star Wars 7,8, and 9 did the same thing. Picked up from years later, the first one is very similar to the OG, second one handed off to another director who didn't really have an end game and wanted to do their own thing, the last one throws everything at the screen and extreme last minute changes to justify points and end the trilogy. This is very similar to the DGG Halloween trilogy. They had an idea for one movie and then chased the money for two more movies.
Im starting yo get into Power Rangers gigs. You think this Goldar will fit with the Lightning Collection Rangers and monsters or should I stay within the line?
For me, it's probably going to be a little bit of everything. Lightning monsters, Super7 puttys, S7 goldar, Zedd, and Rita. lightning Finster and Scorpina. 90s 8 inch - Master Vile, Squat and Babo. I was really hoping for a Reto to finish my display.
This is the only video I have come across that compares these two lines. Thank you for doing it. I have the retro figures from Hasbro and customized their paint as well, but was considering getting the ReAction Dragonzord since we don't have one in the Retro line. Seeing how these scale, I know it won't really work. Personally, while both look like the suits on the show, the Retro line with paint looks better because of the pose. The ReAction stuff is just too stiff. It's the style they chose to go with, but it's not really for me.

I think Part 3 Jason Voorhees would win in my opinion. Because he crushed a skull, destroyed a whole barn by taking out 3 bikers and tearing/throwing stuff around, moved a 5 or 6 ton van while his arms were stuck and smashed through the car window just by only using his head once, lifted up a lady like a baby, hold Chris entire body weight up with one arm, broke a fence, stabbed a girl through a hammock, slashed a dude's body in half with a machete, shot a harpoon through a women's eyeball/skull, hold himself up by holding onto a rope with one arm, survived getting stabbed in the hand and leg, survived being hung, and survived having an axe slammed onto his head. Yup, Part 3 Jason Voorhees > Part 2 Michael Myers. Hand's down.
Yes! Part 3 Jason is growing on me more and more with every watch. Just in that movie... could be my favorite Jason portrayal. Kalob freaking loves F13th Part 3.
There are only 2 Michael Myers actors in Halloween (1978). Tony Moran played as the unmasked version and Nick Castle played as the version almost through out the whole Movie. But, I agree. 1978 Michael Myers win's. Because he ripped out a 1000LBS tombstone off the ground and carried it back to Haddonfield, raised Bob up with one arm and impaled him against the wall with a kitchen knife, punched through a wooden door, broke through a wardrobe, shattered a car window with his bare hand, stabbed in the neck with a needle, stabbed in the eyeball with a cloths hanger, stabbed in the stomach with a knife, and shot 6 time's at point blank rage. Thanks for subscribing! Myers 78 for the win. The main actor to play the shape was Nick Castle. Tony Moran did play the Shape for about 4 seconds and a days worth of shooting. Technically 6 people portrayed Myers. This would include the young Myers actor, Debra Hill for the opening slashing and a couple stand in far away shots, and the director of photography Tommy Lee Wallace.

Dude, it was soo hard trying to figure out what kind of gold paint worked best on goldar. I eneded up matte clear coating goldar, then using a gold gundam marker , added a darker copper red, a pastel gray blue for the face, and added a dirty wash
@@jkrantsandreviews it does it was just a bltch to figure out the gold problem. I used craftsman gold paint pen and even sealed it. Waited a month came back and each time I gently rubbed the gold, it would smear on my finger. I got pissed, ditched the figure for a year, came back to it, stripped the paint, then did all that I mentioned above. Talk about a nightmare
@@mr.joshua204 yeah man I hate when customes go wrong. I have a 90s megazord that I took completely apart, filled in the hallow parts and repainted it. I had to sand it down and repaint it multiple times. I had similar issues with my lightning collection in space gliders as well. My custom Zap megazord turned out ok but I'll have to go back and redo some of it.
@@jkrantsandreviews what helps me is if I matte clear coat, because paint can't stick to the lightning plastic. The plastic is too soft and has nothing to stick to

I have customized the other 3 zords and have been meaning to do a video but I got distracted with customizing a Zap Megazord. Dude. I remember, and I am sure Kalob does as well, the closest we could get back then was cheap plastic helmets from the dollar store. I knew I couldn't get it to look like any of the PR masks, so I went for VR Troopers offshoot. Pretty crazy. Cool stuff.
I love the back story that Zombie gave Michael. I've only watched his sequel once, & I remember thinking that I probably needed to be tripping to understand it.
