So I’m lost I want to be just like you guys I reached out to them but they don’t have solo😢. I really need help getting my cdl class b. I’m in Jacksonville fl I want to drive the trucks talk drive. Please help I’m a hugeeee fan
Dear friends I follow all your videos and I think you should change to 26 ft box Truck, almost all your loads are no more Thank 6 pallets. You are traveling a lot of dead head miles and burning a lot of fuel, box Truck you Will save fuel. Best regards Youre nice couple❤
Thank you. For te loads we've done is with FedEx Custom Critical and we have to use their load board. The nice thing is if you drive for Hyfield Trucking, they know the trucks will have a big dead head and pay for fuel. Thank you for watching.
$10,673•12=$128,076/2drivers=$64,038. That’s terrible. You are on an expedited operation where you sleep while the truck is moving but you get paid the same as every other Solo driver. Heck this is two years ago and Solo OTR’s were getting in the $90k’s.
Wow 😅 now I rlly want to drive this truck I’m getting my cdl A I’m in Florida that’s an awesome truck I’m actually trying to talk my owner into getting a truck like this

I would strongly suggest leaving the money info out of your videos. You don't want every flip flop wearing steering wheel holder now going out and buying a straight truck and flooding that market. Just a thought. Stay safe out there.
Flooding the market with reefer straight trucks is unlikely to happen. The cost alone is a deterrent for a lot of people. There aren’t many used ones available. Building a brand new one won’t be ready until sometime 2025. Great vids Derek and Cinnamon!
My wife and I are on our way to becoming team drivers. I just contacted Hyfield today to set up an appointment and get some information. We are nomads at heart, we love to be on the road and figured starting a small transport business would be a great idea. After 6 months of getting beat up trying to buy our own Cascadia from Velocity in California (and boy did they do a number on me, great story if you want to hear it), our next option is to try to drive for someone else while we grow our experience and business. We are hoping that after we obtain our Class B CDL's that we were getting for our truck, that Hyfield will take us on as drivers. We are very dedicated to making this lifestyle work and joining the road warriors and daily nomads. Thank you, you wonderful people for having this RU-vid channel and inspiring me along the way. I would never have thought to try driving for another fleet owner without your videos.
Thank you Jeffrey! Very encouraging words. Also if you drive for Hyfield Trucking you could start a LLC and have Hyfield pay your LLC instead of you directly. This way the bank sees your business is bringing in money and might be more willing to give you a loan for a truck in the future. Also Hyfield does occasionally sell their trucks. I wish you 2 the best. 👍
@@TruckandTravel Thank you for responding and for the awesome information. I had a wonderful conversation with Delenna the other day and we are excited to move forward with Hyfield. We have to adjust a few things, as we are currently in California. But, everything we need to do, is very doable and we were going to move our LLC out of California anyways. Especially after seeing what a tractor goes for here, holy smokes. Have an amazing time out on the road. Stay safe and smiling.
My wife and I Team Truck for Schneider as Owner Op and run 21 days out 9 days home every month. After costs and fuel we walk with 22k every 21 days. Last year it was better we walked with 24k so freight is down from last year but it’s still doing okay I guess. The break downs cost a bit. Last month we spent 6700.00 on a radiator and a transmission cooler; our first repair for the year so far so we’re not complaining.
@@TruckandTravel I believe teaming expedite with your type of truck is the way to go. I'm solo driver in a semi. Keep up the great content. Looks like you found the right niche.
Still have the F-350 say it's not so😂 great video good to see you both God bless y'all. That F-350 is like having a picture in your wallet of a ex girlfriend, not sure why you still have it yes it's pretty but the cost
