You are right about heavy duty pickups. They are just not made to be driven 11 hours a day and up to 7 days a week with heavy loads. The different brands are all the same.

Outstanding video and probably the only one I’ve ever seen that does the great comparison between the two because I’m like you in the same type of truck and the 50% deadhead just doesn’t work

Hey guys, hope all is well, I'm going to be 20 years old very soon, I remember watching your channel when I was around 15, I was actually in your neck of the woods today in Liam Ohio, we were just north buying a JD skidstreer, we are back home now after a long day ( we actually made a big circle bc we came thru Wooster then going home we were gonna go the same way but we missed the turn so we ended up in Columbus, and we jumped on 70 from there, we got it from a guy who deals with equipment, moequipment. God bless yall 🙏

I did expedite in a cargo van. The only thing I didn't like is it was always runs overnight. RV transport I ran during the day. Not sure if expedite is different now. Did expedite like 20 years ago and RV transport recently

Most of our runs we did required 2 drivers and usually driving over night. I think if I did RV transport again it would have to be bumper pulls with a sprinter van for RV transport

I did it . The sleeping was the worse. Side to side with back seat put you can't lay flat. With passenger seat barely lay flat but no room for movement. Hard to sleep curled up. I never slept well.

That's good. The main thing is back hauls to lower the amount of miles driving empty with no pay.

@@TruckandTravel The back hauls are a lot of the time not even worth messing with. Heavy on hassle and usually light on pay. Depends how far out you are also. Farther out there's a better chance of catching one on the way back that works. Very very hit or miss on those. I've wasted whole days setting there in the truck stop waiting for something back when I should have wasted no more than 1 or 2 hours before starting back. Never hurts to look and sometimes you get lucky on one but I live in Elkhart County and usually stick to the 4-600 mile stuff and don't about it. When I get my trailer and start doing multi haul I will probably do the same and get the better outbound rate.
