Hey everyone! These videos are to show tips & tricks I’ve learned along the way on how to do your own nails at home! I’m not a professional but I’ve been doing my own nails for a few years. Make sure to subscribe to follow me along my nail journey as I’m posting weekly nail videos!💕
love this tutorial! i've been interested in this for a while because i want to do my own fake nails but doing it on ur own hands (like with gel extensions) seems so difficult! especially if you want to do it on ur dominant hand with ur non dominant hand!
Im glad you mentioned the thumb sizing, but I can't figure it out the way they have it😢 Usually I see nail measurements like .54, .47 etc in inches. Do you know what the thumb is in inches? TIA, back to the video😊 Beetles also has these kinds of nail and one other brand i can't remember. Maybe they have bigger thumb sizing🤔
Is getting nail polish on your skin really a factor in being allergic to nail polish? This has happened to before? Cuz I get it on my skin alot and have for many years and never have had an allergy
I definitely recommend to do your own research (from credible sources). But Gel polish contains acrylate and methacrylate, which are known to cause allergic reactions, like rash (contact dermatitis) and also hives (urticaria). Repeated exposure overtime can cause your body to react badly even if you haven’t experienced it so far with exposure.
Please tell me what the name of the comparison instant apex nail tip is. I have looked high and low for one that has a lower apex than the Tipex. The tipex rises too high close to the nail bed and does not look natural at all to me. I don't want to purchase something that I am just going to have to file down. The other brand appears strong enough for what I will be needing them for lol.
i’m so glad you posted this! the first time i got my nails done this is the method they used and i have yet to find someone else that knows this method. eventually i’ll just buy the stuff myself but i wish shops could do this!!
❤❤❤❤ I bought a gel lamp that I just opened the disposable box but I don't know where I lost the lamp's battery charger. Now I want to buy a wired battery charger again but I don't know how to buy its original. Please guide me so I can buy it. Thank you very much
Thank you! I do also sell custom press ons now, so if you’re interested you can check out my website (www . Nailperfectionbykate . Com) or dm/email me for custom requests 💜 My press on Instagram - @nailperfectionbykate My business inquiry email - Info@nailperfectionbykate.com
Nailzbydev! I’m usually a size 2 in her brand. I love her “medium” square full cover tips (not the gel tips one), and the 3xl square tips I also recently tried the apres sculpted tips and I’m fully a 0 (they have one size up too which is 00)
Honestly I really don’t, and I apologize! I’m super into nails and all, but I don’t do acrylic.. so prices of monomer is last on my list lol 😂 I know you’re on a budget, and there’s probably good brands that are cheap, but be very careful not to buy MMA monomer! The effects of that isn’t worth saving a few pennies. EMA monomer is the only safe way to go
@@BxeadBestRU-vidr of course, I’m glad I could put you in the right direction! Definitely do your own (credited) research, but mma I’ve heard is really damaging for your nails
Really focus on your prep! 9/10 that’s the reason they pop off. If you feel your nail & gel tip prep is on par, try a different brand of gel tips. And make sure you’re using the full system! I personally find the Tipex gel nail glue to be the best I’ve tried for lasting gel tip manicures, so also look into that! It could also be the way you’re applying it, be sure to leave a hairline around your cuticles & skin, and after application, be sure to use a sanding band around the cuticle & sides. Then try using a brush to rub acetone to “seal” the nail in place
@@Gina-jp1zr of course! Sorry if your comment wasn’t meant to ask for advice 😂 it’s sorta habit at this point to try and help people with situations like this
@@KCNails Oh no, of course. I really appreciate the help!!!! I need all the help with nails that I can get. Even if they are just basically press-ons. =)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS REVIEW!! I have flat and wide nails(thumb needs a 15mm/IC18-19mm as well!). I have my own channel @PrettyImpressiveNails l just started trying to cover more wide and flat nail bed friendly nail products. Im going to get these to try, and hope for the best since its so close. THANKS AGAIN!
Of course!! The struggle is real! Def try nailzbydev! Her full cover tips, I’m a size 2 in them! And she goes down to 0. I just tried apres sculpted tips and they also have one size bigger than my thumb (I’m a 0 and they offer 00 too).
@KCNails tysm for the recommendations! I haven't tried Nails By Dev yet! I've tried Apres but so often I can't find them with the 00 in them in the length/style I want. Off to order from Dev and I'll see if I can leave a comment that you sent me.
