💖Personally, I keep my nails pretty short so I like watching short nail art, but I REALLY REALLY love watching videos about long nails so that I can dream about having long gorgeous nails. 💖

People say acrygel because the name “ polygel” is owned by the inventors which was the company Gelish. That’s why Makartt, modelones, and all the other brands had to remove it from all of their packaging. And since polygel is a mix of gel and acrylic, the blanket of acrygel can be use by anyone to still describe the product, but not being a specific brand. Hope that makes sense

💖My favorite length of nails to watch or wear. I like to wear medium to xl length for everyday, and I have been known to wear xxl. I will watch any length nail video because I love the nail art. 😊 I do like how this acrygel looks, but it does remind me more of a softer builder gel? Love how the nails are coming together. I’m loving how that acrygel doesn’t string when you pull a piece from the pot- that stringy consistency makes it so hard for me to work with. This consistency almost looks like those cream gel liner pots/palettes❤

Polygel is a product name for a specific kind of acrygel sold by a specific company. Acrygel is the catch all name for the mix of acrylic/gel products regardless of company affiliation.

I wish I could do acrylic more 🥺. Makartts is probably the best for color choices & if you prefer tubes, but the consistency of Red-Iguana is definitely #1 lol. I wish they had a lot more colors

💖My length that i wear is medium coffin. I love watching this length being done. I'm a DIY and I've tried polygel in the forms and to me it's like using nail glue. It gets all over me and it's so frustrating that I haven't gone back to polygel. I want to go back to it but not sure what to use as a form. TY for this video.

Medium nails are perfect, it’s typically what I have on my own nails to be able to function efficiently with toddlers 😂. It could’ve definitely been the formula of polygel, some are very sticky, stringy, & runny which make it more difficult to work with. What brand do you use? There’s a lot of ways to apply polygels! -Polygel overlay (just placing it over your natural nails) -polygel with dual forms (place it in the plastic form, and cure it on, pop off the form, then file the shape) -polygel over half/or full cover nail tips (this is typically what I do the most! It’s quick to add length and generally pretty easy, but you will need to learn the apex/structure) -polygel over paper nail forms (aka, sculpted polygel nails) -polygel with Russian dual forms (like I showed in this video!)

@KC Nails I've used Makartt, and it's (for me) very tough to get out of the tube. I'll try over natural nails and full cover nails. I have polygel from the Double Dip that I need to try next.

I thought I’d try to do this using shiny plastic coffin tips laid in the nail instead of underneath. Has anyone tried this? After watching this video I thought try it… I hate sculpting my with my non dominant hand .. Any advice appreciated ! I’m going fit it tomorrow😄

That’s totally understandable!! I love xxl+ nails but typically I end up doing short nails on myself 😅. Well, I do sometimes & I do typically try to do the thumb since a lot of people ask for it.. but this set was taking a lot of time and I just quickly decided not to add it in.

I did have the same thought at some point, but instead of having a plastic tip, the entire nail is built from your product! Sometimes that could mean making your sets stronger
