Correct... Without hard defense NBA is a bit boring to watch, at least for 90's guy like myself. It's so obvious because points are being scored above 100 points, which tells me defence is weak or none existent. I miss seeing Center old school playing , watching A. Mourning/ Shaq/ P.Ewing/ Hakeem/ Robinson/ Sobonis and so on. Beautiful era of hard core/ competitive Basketball!!!. Great review... Thanks 👍
Bird was a team player. His stats would have been much higher if he had taken shots that he gave to Parish and McHale. Their high stats were because of Bird.

😂😂😂 I can't lie, watching y'all youngings meltdown, in real time, over realizing MJ is that dude, cracks me up every time! I'm one of those "old heads". One thing none of you Lebron fans ever think about is most of you who call him the "GOAT" are FANS! Most of us old cats who call Jordan the "GOAT" actually can't STAND the dude!!! We HATE him for what he did to our teams!!!! But, we ALSO know who the baddest man on that court was every night and can't deny that. I was born and raised in Michigan! I used to run home just to watch my Bad Boy Pistons beat him down every game and send him home in the playoffs. But, in doing so, they created an absolute MONSTER who held the entire LEAGUE hostage and wouldn't let go. And, there was nothing anyone could do about it because he simply REFUSED to lose! Here's one more stat nobody ever considers. The NBA just had their "75th Anniversary Team" a couple years back. These are the 75 greatest players to ever play the game. Before then, they had an "NBA 50th Anniversary Team." Get this.... 15 players on that roster retired WITHOUT rings because they could never get past MJ. THAT's GOAT status!

The ratings have fallen for regular-season games, All-Star games and NBA Finals. Check any list of top 10 NBA Finals and you'll see MJ's Bulls all over that joint. Do same for lowest rated NBA Finals and you're gonna see King Con all over that list. I really try to watch today's NBA because of my FanDuel teams but after only a few minutes of watching Massengill masculinity I change the channel and watch Threes Company reruns. #JackTripper #MrRoper
They don't sign players just to hit people as much as they used to, but they still exist to an extent. But they are more for protecting your best players. Not really to go after the other teams best players.
the max vert always gets me...do you regularly bench your MAX weight? of course not...he only needed a fraction of his full max vert to do most of his arial acrobatics...there is absolutely no need to do a max jump every time you jump...so are his in-game jumps his actual max jump? probably not...he'd be exhausted after 1 qtr if every jump was his max effort

He would average 52-ish shooting about 51-52% and 38%-40% from 3 with around 14-18 trips to the line. He would drop 80 multiple times per 82 and hit 100 once every 164g. You gotta remember too that the game isnt just less physical now... its slow as hell. Tv timeouts, replays, nobody press anymore nobody breaks, nobody hustles. So Jordan would be so well rested he would play every minute of 82. He would run circles atound entire teams and when they forced to try to run with him he would gas em by halftime. He would have nothing but open looks from anywhere he wants. They would start hackin him just because his 85% from the line is better than his 100% breaking the rim all night. He would have the same effect today as he did then... the entire league would have to adapt and try to play his game to even be a little competition. So they would have to start playing basketball again instead of glorified team HORSE like they doin now
