Channel for transit footage in the NYC metro region with a focus on oddball and rare events/ocurrences. This includes content on subways, buses, rail and other modes. Footage from other areas and regions may show up occasionally too.
Uploads 4x a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (except for the month of January, where uploads occur on Mondays instead of Tuesdays). Additional content may also be posted during the week.
That project did not get implemented. There is also a sign that look similar to the existing signs all over NYC, but with solar power and low-power displays.
New Flyer just needs to deliver one more bus to complete the MTA Bus order! The unit is 9352 for JFK Depot. Meanwhile, no MTA Bus Depot with Novas assigned has completed their order yet. 😢 Good thing for you Orion NG lovers though that they have to stick around longer, but I’m a newbie guy.
I hope you capture more exciting trips like this one, whether on the New York City rapid transit system, the Long Island Railroad, the Staten Island Railway, even on Amtrak.
ru-vid.comgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f499.png Your railroad show is the best one I have ever watched. I was high thrilled to watch the ride I wish I had ridden myself, just to be there. Riding an express train is my favorite way to ride a passenger train like a subway train, the Long Island Road, even the Amtrak Acela. When the train reduced its speed to approximately 50 miles per hour, it was acceptable. I believe the purpose was to reduce wear and tear on the flange wheels. Otherwise, the trip was exciting. Your show was extraordinary!💙
While that 3-stop train is a super express, it does not mean that it is the only such train/pattern. Both of those trains fit the definition given that they make fewer stops than the full length New Haven Line electric trains which typically only run express between Stamford and 125th Street only. Train 1560 has the longest non-stop portion than any other New Haven Line train and is faster than the typical New Haven express train .
Hey sir, I have a question to ask you also please don’t think I’m a bot, just trynna ask a question but just answer when you could and also nice video and catch of the 1 train via 3 line
When the Q12 was assigned artics in 2019, it was only able to get 11 XD60s from 2012 due to the other routes that need artics. That’s why it is common to see both 60ft and 40ft buses on the Q12. At the time, the 54 XD60s from 2017 assigned to the Q44 were all SBS-wrapped. So I think MTA was trying at first to keep the 2017 XD60s off the Q12 for that reason, but I guess either ridership kept growing or the process needed to be streamlined, as more 2017 ones hopped onto the Q12 for the next few years, until MTA finally decided to unwrap the SBS logo on these buses, so no one assumes the Q12 has an SBS variant and because the Q44 has no local variant.
@@timelessparad0x_i don’t think he’s referring to that. the XE40 takes a long time to switch from “QUEENS BL 62 DR” and “via GRAND.” similar to the time the 2011 XD40s take.
@@noahsofflineBut this can lead to more people missing the bus. I think this happened because the previous 2018 display on these buses failed to work properly. Remember when the 2014-15 XD40s came out and they originally had a faster Spectrum speed? When that failed, the current speed began.
