With the televoting i heard about lots of people voting without watching to make their statement, pure political voting, on Israel, or on an country with odds to beat Israel
An new rumor is that they gave him the DQ to distract from other things, there where lots of problems within the deleagtion bubble, and multiple countries filed official complaints, inculding NL before the DQ was known. The rumor is that the delegation from Israel was causing an unsaf envourment, and said delegation did also post multiple things on their socials mocking others, or even harrasing others. Another fishy thing is that the biggest sponsor is from Israel, so the EBU might not be able to do anything out of fear of the sponsor leaving. It got so bad that multiple countries did threaten with pulling out, which is why there was an crisis meeting. The rumor here is that the EBU said that they would just use the semi final footage
Ya, but when the journalist asked Joost "do you think that your song can unite us all ?", Joost said very ironically, with sarcasm in his voice: "That is what you should ask EBU". He was very disrespectfull to EBU. He was mocking EBU because they let Israel perform. So, he was actually challenging EBU very arrogantly. Then, after the incident with the camerawoman happened, they just added it to the list of his mistakes. (Don't forget he also provoked Israel with that question "Why not?" at the press) He, as a contestant, was not supposed to undermine the credibility of EBU. He just crossed the line.
A straight white man bringing some true European spirit to Eurovision that even falls well witht he woke mob? That was something that needed to be sabotaged. In the end the song Europapa will survive Eurovision and will go beyond it. The biggest revenge is for us, the people, to keep the spirit of this song alive.
This Eurovision in particular was a mess, First of all EBU banning Palestinian flags and messages was a very bad move. Because it did absolutely nothing but make everyone madder. It also influenced a lot of protests near the Malmo Arena I don't know if it's shown in the live save of the grand final but an amazing part of Kaleen's performance which was a dance break was lagged out and it cut to a part after it, not to mention that it probably influenced the televote. Israel had to change the song twice, it was actually called October Rain first and I can't even make this up, they're not even hiding it. Nemo had to smuggle in the nonbinary flag. Wtf EBU. And then EBU proudly posted a photo of him holding like they didn't let him have it. If EBU wants to support LGBTQ+ then they failed miserably. In the second semifinal every song after Spain had problems with sound (it was either too quiet or the right ear was totally messed up to the point I thought its my headphones) San Marino has microphone problems or Megara just forgot how to sing randomly which is relatable Israeli Reporters were harassing artists especially, Joost, Marina and Bambie Thug. Bambie even reported them to the EBU and guess what happened, nothing. Anti-Booing Technology was used besides the times where it wasn't because in the final you could hear loud and clear booing when Israel got points or Martin showed up to say that they "counted" the votes. A lot of people that were supposed to give out points (for example Alessandra which was in Eurovision last year didn't want to give out points for Norway, Kaarija and the country of Netherlands resigned from giving out points too) Olly Alexander getting 0 points is almost impossible, like how did he not get at least a single point. Ireland's performance had a lot of pagan references (Bambie even wore ogham on her face - which it read ceasefire but she had to change it because I guess someone snitched, so they changed it to crown the witch), It was also about a toxic relationship and taking revenge on that person, that's why there were very timid moments which I like to interpret as someone love bombing. Also the thorn crown is a pagan symbol too. No one's really mocking Christianity, if someone is it's those people that were praying while the performance played because for me it just looks like they're making fun of both of the beliefs. Because you cannot tell me a real person actually is so scared of it they need to pray to their deity for protection. Anyways I definitely won't be watching the next Eurovision unless they ban Israel and maybe fix their technical problems. Eurovision 2024 gets a measly rating of 4/10 and that's only because almost all songs were amazing
Croatia was robbed. Maybe if Netherlands wasn't disqualified, people who voted for Switzerland would have voted for the Netherlands. Croatia's song exceeds Zitti e Buoni by lightyears. Their was wasn't even nearly as good.
If Joost had competed, Croatia would have won. "The Code" and "Europapa" has a pretty significant overlap in the fandom (nothing wrong with that, a lot of people like BOTH songs - including the jurors), so the 12 point awards that went to Nemo would have been divided between "The Code" and "Europapa," knocking "The Code" below the very small point threshold between 1st and 2nd.
please remember god has never and will never exist! you are a gross, homophobic pig. jesus is not real. get over yourself, grown man throwing a tantrum over a DELUSION. so sad. you are the thing that needs to wake up.
The only reason why Australia is allowed to take part is because apparently there are a LOT of European expats living in Europe who have watched Eurovision there since whenever it was possible. So Australia like stands out in regards of amount of people outside of Europe that can watch and do watch Eurovision. I think that's why they are allowed to participate.
A lot of people who voted only see the songs first time in the final show. I agree if you just listen to the audio version only, Croatia song might be the winner. But on the night, Nemo and the visual effect had the biggest impact that got him the win. I don't see any controversies here. As for Israel's tele vote, people who against their action in Gaza cannot vote them down, so I wouldn't take it as a surprise
okay your points stand but no need to be hateful to Nemo. and mocking christianity/any other religion is not a big deal, get over it. It's literally mythology people can use to reference with symbols like that
Actually the "nonbinary agenda" is ALSO just for show to distract people from other things they did. Nemo themself said they were not allowed to bring their enby flag into the arena, that they had to sneak it in. The fact that they ban a pride flag is quite literally insane considering they're famous for APPARENTLY being so queer-friendly and also used that contestant to save themselves from having israel win.
I am sorry, but I just can't listen to you speaking English. This Rrrr of yours simply hurts my ears. And it's not only that. Ever thought of improving your conversational skills maybe? I mean, it's really important for the work that you do- making videos of yourself expressing your opinions and posting it on YT.
Ireland is not satanistic, c'mon I'm more satanistic when I bump my little toe 😂 she even start the song with Harry Potter. Good marketing and a very nice choreography
She is. Although she sugarcoat it with witchcraft, it is her's religion. Do not be fooled. She performed a invocation and demon binding ritual on the stage.
ESC died this year. The dutch need all the money back we ever paid and that the ebu made of dutch work. F*ck the ebu. They were supposed to protect Joost. Where was ebu security? Oh and for everyone who put a bet on ESC and didnt win? Sue ebu for rigging the contest. They cost you money.
Irish here. No idea a young person would be so staunchly Christian but still I don't think it was right to put the crown of thorns on Nemo, it was for themself (Bambie).
@@aylinasghary2959 I think it was meant to be a kind act following the crown the witch meme. In theory it’s wholesome for the witch to crown the winner but it’s a potentially controversial crown that should’ve maybe have been reconsidered.
Yes, Joost tried to unite Europe, yes Joost was unfairly disqualified, and yes, Israel probably shouldn't have participated. However, Eurovision has a policy of zero tolerance, like a school that suspends the bully and the bullied. Under Swedish law, even just threatening someone that you're going to cause them pain or harm them is enough to get put in jail for 2 years. I'm not saying they were right in disqualifying him. I'm just saying that they didn't do it just because they didn't like him.
Politics and money. Australia and Israel buying their place in the EBU. I think for Israel it is a marketing tool to wipe out all things happening over there. Of course EBU is the biggest whore in this system and doesn't care about united Europe.
