I'm happy with the Numark DJ2Go touch. It's a great backup to my main one. I like that I can practice scratching and able to browse through my songs. It does for me what it suppose to do as a backup and something to practice with.
Very helpful and informative. I’m looking to get the Hercules and this answered all my questions. I’ll use this controller for prep, back up, and playing music at my leisure. Perfect for book bag
You missed the fact that you can't load tracks from the Starlight controller you have to use the laptop, but the Numark dj2go2 touch allows loading from the controller.
That is EXACTLY why I went for a DJ2GO2. I find it more useful to have a knob to scroll through the library and buttons to load tracks than I do having buttons for effects.
I heard that for you to use the Numark with all its features you would have to purchase Serato DJ Pro even if you already purchased it for previous controllers. I think its crazy that numark makes you buy a new Serato subscription when you already have one. Is this the case for the Hercules controller? Can you use your existing Serato DJ Pro software?
One of your mix as you post it showed up on my screen so I gave it a play, very good mix very good selection in music so I played the other two that are awesome I hope to see more posting in the future oh, your mixes are awesome!
Thanks for the video man, Good idea about the bumpers, how did you made them or where to get them? Another thing about browser , you can browse with the Jogs, i don´t know if is a subfuntion of the controller or a mapping but i have seen it on some video.
Did you have any problem with the track playing while you have your hand on the wheel while in scratch mode. I've been trying to practice drop scratches but when I drag the wheel back and keep my hand on top, the record plays underneath it anyways. Is there a setting or something I might be missing? I am using serato lite. Thanks in advance
Hi mate, great video! I wanted to ask you if you've had any problems with the sx3 as I've done some research and I want to get one myself. I've seen many videos showcasing the problems the sx3 has. Does this happen with you at all?
HI, so far i really didn't encounter any problems with the SX3. I've already uploaded a couple of my DJ sets here and i haven't had any complains doing them. I'm running it on Serato Pro on a slightly old i5 Dell laptop with 8GB memory on win10. Maybe you can tell me what those problems are and i'll check it out for you.
@@kitpag hi thanks for the response. I have seen people complain about the audio that would randomly cut out. Pioneer did release a remastered version of the unit and stated that the newer version has no problems and has undergone testing. The other complaint was the jog wheel not being able to fast track forward and would have a very weird response.
@@lollol-hk6fv i see. i never recalled audio dropping out on my unit even when i'm using all four channels. As for the jog wheels, I also do some scratching and beat juggling stuff and they respond well too. Also no problem with the song search strip, navigation knob, flip controls, pads work well, etc. Maybe i do have the recent units that Pioneer released as i just acquired this one recently. I haven't done a firmware check too because as they say, if it works well, don't fix it. :-) Hope this helps.
🌐 guys if y'all really enjoy your Hercules Starlight than an email info@decksaver.Com and put in a request for a decksaver they said they would think about making them if they've got enough request so please request a cover they are super awesome and will protect your unit during transport or storage! 👍👍
@@kitpag sent both mine back, coming from turntables after 20 years they just don't cut it. Vinyl is so much more satisfying and takes more skill. Great for beginners or someone who likes the digital age. But putting a vinyl on a technics 1200 turntable platter is one of life's pleasures haha
@@kitpag except not having to carry a thousand pounds of vinyl records in weight alone. Vinyl is like a CDJ without a display, it’s all the same principle and in the end, it’s a medium that is largely inaccessible by multiple factors including expense and a now limited selection of music. There’s a reason that even vinyl has been moved to digital through the advent of timecode and what-not.

After 10 second of the pulsating camera I had to say fuck this video. Wtf! Do you want viewers or do you want to make people vomit. 🤣🤣🤣 but I did close my eyes and listened and it sounded pretty damn good.
